I agree with you in someways, but I also think that Miley had to make her own mistakes so that she could learn her lesson on her own. I do agree with you though that her dad should’ve been more of a dad than a best friend which that’s how my dad was. He was a dad first but as I grew older, he let me make my own decisions so that I can learn from the mistakes. I had to learn that the hard way and that my dad is not going to be there to correct me all the time. I had to learn to make my own decisions, and the consequences of those decisions would fall on me.
but yet when she was 15 she dated a 20 year that was not appropriate and him saying that he was her best friend also not appropriate... be your child's parent first and foremost that friendship will have to wait..
