    I've had the Hodur for a little while and got the DaVinci recently. I agree with your review and like the DaVinci most but it's nice to have another quality alternative that has different strengths. Thank you for another great review! 👍

      I agree with you. I have a couple harman sets, and looks like the Davinci is worth to be added to the collection for a different taste.

    If you have the opportunity, try the Davinci with the Onix Alpha XI1 dongle.
    Had an opportunity to try the the Davinci out and compare with various dongle. What you described with the sound stage and imaging (without dongle) was essentially spot on with my views as well. However, after trying them with the dongle, the soundstage and imaging went bonkers. Not sure what dac/amps you're using with your IEMs, but can definietely vouch that the ONIX made it that much better for me!
    Also, would love to hear your thoughts on an IEM recommendation that still had good enough bass quality, but is more vocal forward but with treble rolloff (even the dunu sa6 mk2 felt "icy" for me).

      If I ever get my hands on a Onyx Alpha I'll try that out! All my testing was done on my iBasso DX300.
      As for my iem reccomendation, I'd say the Sound Rhyme SR8 would be exactly what your looking for! (Though it is quite a bit more expensive 😅)

    DaVinchi or Hype 4? From what I heard DaVinchi is like Hype 4 but without soundstage

    But is it possible could you compare davinci to oh10 was looking for an upgrade

    • @PraisedAudio
      @PraisedAudio  5 днів тому

      I don't have the OH10 anymore sadly, but by memory, the OH10 was a bright tuning while the Davinci is a warm tuning, so even though both are great with bass they still sound very different. I personally like the DaVinci a lot more and I think it would be a good upgrade if you like both warm and bright sets. For reference, I have the OH10 as a C and the DaVinci as a S- on my teir list. 🙂

      @@PraisedAudio thank you for replying in such short time
      I get what you are saying and i am currently watching the ranking of iems and getting to understand it
      Apparently sa6 mk2 along with nana is s- tier

    • @PraisedAudio
      @PraisedAudio  4 дні тому

      Yup, for me, in terms of enjoyment, I find them close to equal. The Nanna had better technicalities and treble, but I found the bass of the sa6mk2 to be more enjoyable. The mids were around similar. I also enjoy the signature of the sa6mk2 more. The imaging and stage are better on the nanna. So to me they trade blows in terms of enjoyment, but S- tier is no low teir, they are both VERY good and enjoyable to me. Dispite the price difference and same teir, it doesn't mean the nanna is not worth it to me, because the nanna offers a completely different sound signature. 🙂

    What about warming up? Do Da Vinci need to be burned before listening?

    • @PraisedAudio
      @PraisedAudio  12 днів тому

      I got this set used so I can't really say 🫤, when it comes to mentally burning in it took me a few minutes to get used to the bass quantity but not much. 🙂
