I doubt it. For some reason none of the zoo games after ZT2 allowed us to act as zookeepers and actually interact with our animals. Not really sure why they don't want to add that. This one is probably going to be the same as all of their other management games...with the focus being on management.
Probably will be, since they are marketing it as part of what seems to be the new Planet Series, and the first game in said series Planet Coaster has some of the most creative freedom of any game I've ever seen.

actually, in zoo tycoon 1 it's possible to make an exhibit suitable for multiple species, there are even guides out there teaching how to do it but yes, i hope that the building system is more similar to planet coaster than the zoo tycoon series

Not to mention that the earlier rollercoaster games (Rollercoaster Tycoon 2, 3, etc.) had water park content....creating rollercoaster on or under the ground is great, but if Planet Coaster never has water theme park attractions, it will never be as good, or better than, the previous rollercoaster games. Whoever heard of a theme park game without water park attractions??? The devs have announced they'll never bring it in, so, for that reason, I've gotten rid of Planet Coaster, it's not worth it. But THIS looks so much better, can't wait for it to come out!
Seperate games is probably a better strategy than . Word of warning Planet Coaster was announced back in 2015 and still isn't on the ps4, so this really is just a desktop, windows, PC game.

It is just what is needed now! They could ALSO make dlc but like, you get A GAME itself and you can use it AS a dlc. But not just dlc, it would be the worst idea
They could do like what happened with total war: warhammer and if you buy the sequel it combines both games into a single huge game, that'd actually be crazy cause I'd love to make like a flamingo land from the UK that has a zoo and rides.
@@loopholesloopy this is exactly what I thought. It's the same engine so I dont think it would be very difficult combine both things and it would be a great way to award there current customers. I am happy to buy Planet Zoo regardless of this as I love Planet Coaster but would be nice to be able to have a Bush gardens style park
@Victor it isn't an expansion it's a standalone game but as it runs on the same engine theres no reason they couldn't detect you own Planet Coaster and then import all the stuff you own for that game into Planet Zoo
