We took our Tiguan in for service last week and walked out with a 2024 Atlas R-Line Premium 4 Motion. Love the captains chairs in the back and the entire car just feels like a warm hug, LOL. So far my wife loves her Atlas and I couldn’t be happier for her. Most money I’ve ever spent on a car but she’s never asked for anything for herself so I couldn’t try to talk her out of it. As soon as she sat in it I knew she wanted it. She drove a Telluride a few months ago and loved it too, but when she sat in this car she forgot all about the Kia.
Reese! Test drove an SEL yesterday and I have to say I love it! Seats are more comfortable than my 2019, interior is such a nice upgrade, and the updated 2.0T surprised me as the torque delivers nicely! Spins up faster than my VR6. Great review as always!
I wish more people would come in and drive them! I have owned a 2019 V6 SEL and a 2023 V6 SEL R-Line Black Cross Sport. This car just picks up where the previous Atlases left off. The interior upgrades are a home run!
@@vwguru I loved my 2019 Tiguan SEL-P R Line, but needed the room so picked up a CPO 2019 Atlas SEL with the VR6. I wanted to see what the new 2.0T felt like and it’s a huge difference over the 2.0T that was in the Tiguan. Thoroughly impressed! Drove great, fit & finish great as always, and the new infotainment system is nice and I had no issues with control functions. It’s one of the best 3 row mid-size SUVs out there and more people need to give it a shot.
Great video… in your opinion what color looks the best in the 2024 atlas R line. I’m between White, Red, black or platinum gray. I’m going to miss my pure gray cross sport but need 7 seats now.
Help! Would you happen to know why my 2024 R-Line atlas doesn’t have the r-line gauge cluster option? Have seen other comments on UA-cam with some having the option and some don’t, all r-line trim?!!
I just traded a 2019 SEL 4Motion Tiguan for this exact car. Zippy chance you could say the Tiguan is peppier. That thing is a like driving in quicksand. It’s a great little car but notoriously the slowest engine in its class.
The torque is often mistaken for horsepower. This new engine has enough horsepower and even more torque. The torque makes this vehicle seem faster, and that is what people are looking for. If this vehicle had more horsepower, people would then complain about the pricing.
No VR6 Engine and No Fog Lights mean No Sale for me! The Fake Exhaust Tips are pure stupidity! The Front Passenger Seat must have power adjustments on all trim levels. Who specs out the interior features on these vehicles a divorced engineer or bean counter? That is why they are divorced with on power passenger seat. The Major Decision Makers when it comes to the purchase of a new vehicle is most times the female spouse. This Decision Maker will always want a power passenger seat and lighted vanity mirrors.
It is finally here!

ABSOLUTELY!@@Reihenmotor5

Of the colors you listed, I think Platinum Gray is going to be the best.
Platinum Grey for sure.
How do you change the ambient lighting features?
Through the "Vehicle" settings on the touch screen.
Awesome. Found it. Thank you Is that only available on the SEL Premium R-Line trims?
Any reason they didn’t also include fog lamps? Just rounds out these higher trims and differentiates them.
Fog lights have been replaced with “Poor Weather lights” since 2021.

Did they delete the coolant temperature gauge for the 2024 Atlas?
No. You just need to find it on the screen..
no longer 3.0 :O???
No.more 3.6. Only 2.0T now
It’s a beautiful vehicle and a lot nice fixtures but not automatic adjustable steering wheel… common Volkswagen, that was a deal breaker for me.
How many times do you adjust your steering wheel for that to be a deal breaker?
No VR6 Engine No Sale for me! Fog Lights are a must for all my vehicles.
Unless you need the extra room get the Tiguan! It's prettier, more nimble, peppier and cheaper..:)

@@traviswoodall6547I didn’t say it was fast, just better than the “fATlas”…;)
beautiful but HP is lacking, hating this trend.

People are complaining about the pricing now… and it’s slower. The public isn’t looking for vehicles that SEEM faster.
That’s not an SUV that’s a minivan looking at the backseat
And it’s still a slow vehicle. The V6 wasn’t a neck break either.
