Yes, the Pearl Vision series is a great kit. I've played one at my old high school and the birch shells sounded sweet. They also come in some beautiful finishes

I have 4 kits. No, I don't need that many but here's why I have them:
1. I have myRuby Fade Export, I keep it for gigs when I need it, but I love it too much to ever get rid of it.
2. I have my NEW Export EXX kit. I play it because it sounds amazing and is affordable and you all can go and get one in stores if you like it.
3. I have the Pearl ePro Live electronic kit. Great for practicing and cool sound combinations.
4. This new Pearl Session Studio Classic for Georgia State gigs.

I myself am a metal drummer... None of it is complex... As long as you can count to four and move your hands and feet really fast you'll do fine. I believe he's done this song good justice. Then again, what would you know, you probably just hate on his content because you have no life, whereas many others are out in the world (including myself) making a living. Don't hate on someone because they have a higher set skill than you. If you want to hate, surpass his skill, and every other drummer in the world. Then you will have the right to do so.

no portnoy wasn't a member of the group he replaced the rev while they had no drummer. So he was there because a7x were in the prossess of making an album when the rev died so they continued it for the fans and asked portnoy (a great drummer) to replace the rev. Arin is the second permanent drummer of the group.

Joseph Reyes. I cant say I've seen all his videos, but I've seen quite a few including the one where he is explaining a technique for speed which he lacks. Im not hating on the guy, hes a good drummer. Just dont get how he gets an endorsement and all these views if I've seen way better drummers on youtube. Do you know how hard it is to get an endorsement? His dad must know a guy that knows a guy. But anyways I can't see this guy doing beast and the harlot drum cover. Not from what I've seen. Can you not see how he's struggles when doing a drum fill on this song? Look at his face reaction, the way he's playing this cover.

I prefer the A Customs for rock, but the K Custom are a very beautiful and versatile cymbal for many genres as well.

It's all about the sound you want, but I'll give you my opinions:
My three favorite lines from Zildjian are the A Customs, K Customs & A's.
If you want just one set of only one type of cymbal each of those have awesome sets, but my opinion would be to mix and match. :)
The A Custom crashes are beastly as well as the A crashes. The K Custom Hybrid OR Session hats and the A New beats hats are awesome. A custom Splashes are amazing. and the A Sweet Ride and the K Custom ride are SWEET.
I love the blue! I think that may be my favorite finish of theirs

I agree he can never be replaced. The Rev is my idol. Hes the reason I started playing drums but its been almost four years now and Arin is awesome. This song isnt technical but the band told Arin to underplay on this song. I saw Arin live with A7X in 2011 and Arin fucking shreds. This song is just easy on the drums. But sick, :) Im seeing them next month in San Diego.

People always complain about the Hail to the King single's drums, even though it's pretty clear they intentionally underwrote the drum track to get a classic feel. If you want a demonstration of Arin's actual creative abilities then look at Carry On. Fantastic drums, but yet many people say Arin can't play because they underwrote one song.

im sure arin couldnt have done it more like this though, see avenged sevenfold wanted the album hail to the king to be more like the roots of metal and the bac bone of the drums is a realy important part of that. That's why arin didnt do it with so many fills and double bass and what not, it's not that he can't play it becouse he realy does. He was told not to by the band.

What!!! U serious??? I like cooperdrummer and all but he is definitely not better than Arin, and this cover does not sound better than the original drum tracks. Not even the audio. When I make a drum cover I try to mix the audio almost similar to the original audio.Try watching some videos of Arin playing drums even from his old band before posting something like this! I liked the cover but it is not better!!

You know, if you'd keep it simple instead of trying to over complicate the song, you wouldn't miss the notes you've missed, and the cue to the breakdown that you missed. Just keep it simple, man. My only criticism. You're a great drummer, you just try to do too too much. Keep at it though, man. Sorry to sound like a jerk.

i would say if your going to cover a song try yr best to cover it not show off he added a lot of accents and rolls that are not on the track although the track was played ....this song is way easier than he makes it out to be nuff said

Nice job. I used to play with my snare low like yours, but after a few years I came to realize that it was holding me back and causing pain. I moved it up (slightly above my leg level) to were it was comfortable. Took some getting used to but man! It helped and opened me up to a lot more finesse. Whatever works for you though.

I freaking love this band. You have the talent like The Rev did. He was my favorite drummer since I was little, I started drumming 2 years before he died. It's funny, I learned to play from Guitar Hero games and Rockband. This makes me sad, I wish I had a real drumset, it looks way more fun then my crappy electric x.x I love your talent man. I can't wait to actually start working on pursuing my dreams x.x

If he wants to do all the stick flipping and all the showboating then let him be , it his specific style and type of playing , not everyone follows the boring solid beat playing . I had the same pedal on my electronic kit going back 5 years ago and then after that I started with tama drums I still used that pedal for a little bit because it was a nice pedal but then I just started using all tama hardware
