this is the first playthrough of any game I have watched. you cadence and presentation is really good. This game is right up my alley and there is not another video that was able to show what the game was about. Commented, Liked and Subscribed.
Actually the scores were tied and you would win with first tie breaker. Reason: not only did you miss out on the 2 raze tokens that you mentioned and would not matter for points but could have helped in the raid action you mentioned doing, but way back before the raze token misses you missed gaining a food from the frozen T-rex ability which would have left you with 6 resources instead of 5 and giving you 3 points instead of 2 and there by create a tie. I believe you said you had more cards in your empire giving you the win. Great demo as always! Thanks!
In the excitement to build for points, you missed two Raze tokens as building bonuses, which could have been used to stop Red from getting points for ships at sail and their offering. Thanks for the playthrough!
OK after watching this playthrough one thing comes to mind. The faction decks are pretty thin, isn't there just a one strategy for every faction that you HAVE TO pursue to play optimally? It seems that you just do what you are best at, there's not much room for creativity.
To a certain degree yes, but they are still 30 or so card decks and the order they come out will certainly change how you play one game to the next even if you are chasing a similar goal each time.

Your playthroughs are very detailed Jon. The whole framework is quite well organized. Keep up the good work & cheers from Brazil!

Thank you Jon for another awesome video. This game looks really good fun and may need to be invested in. Keep up the great work.
Great playthrough. Appreciate it! I am curious how the other clans play, so I guess I will have to pick this game up.

Huh, thanks for pointing that out! I'll go in and add some notes to the Klingon subtitles.
Great stuff!
FYI you now get one vp per raze token left at the end of the game in the new irrata

What's with the hate against the "red player" and that talk about an unfortunate loss? You played both sides! 😀
The intention is that "we" only play the primary player and the other one's are opponents even though in reality I am indeed all players :P
@@JonGetsGames I was starting to root for "the red player" just because of it. Must have worked because my team won! Yay.
Preordered this game, but every time I see another tableau builder I ask myself: "Why am I not playing Race for the Galaxy instead?".
