ASALH W.M. Dulaney Branch Juneteenth Symposium featuring Dr. Don and Jocelyn Pinkard, Co-Owners of Hidden History Tours, "Juneteenth: A Unique Holiday for a Unique Country"; Donald J. Cox, Doctoral Candidate, University of North Texas, "Myths of Juneteenth"; and Clover the Violinist (Gabrielle Clover, Dallas Musician) "The Music of Juneteenth". The event was Co-Sponsored by the African American Museum and the DFW Branch of the Association for the Study of African American Life and History.
