Today is the first time I have heard this from Skynerd I'm 54 years old and don't know how this slipped passed me thank you to who ever uploaded this I can't stop playing it
Been a Skynyrd diehard since I was 14, 1974. I had to have everything they did on CD. It took me 44 years to find this song, and the rest on the Collectybles album. Talked to a guy I meet on EBAY, we traded CD's all the time. He could find anything. I asked about this one, he said he knew a guy in FL. 2 weeks later, it was in my mailbox. Thanks Jersey Joe, you finished my LS collection
And to do it w/ absolutely no musical training...not even a singing lesson! Wow. I think I'm replying to a comment you texted like 5 years ago, sorry, couldnt resist...
@@andychisarick6879 Ronnie should have taken some singing lessons. Not to sing better, but to learn techniques to protect his vocal chords, which were taking a beating. This happens a lot to natural singers.
I can imagine it would...if he'd lived what would his voice have sounded like as he aged? Rough, gravelly, whiskey-soaked? Certainly not smooth & mellow. Wish we knew...sigh...maybe when we're all in rock n roll heaven...
