Just thought I'd let you know you can just install all the L1 presets into the L2 you can download them from fabfilter website! I have all the old presets put onto the newer FF versions! 👍
Y'all should check out a free monitoring plugin by TBProAudio called ISOL8. It's great for "isolating" ( it's in the name lol) frequencies and you can even listen to the mid, side, left, right channel in any band. Also has a convenient "dim" button that drops the level by a changeable amount for quiet listening. I'm constantly using it to check stereo image and the low end but also it helps to hear clipping or distortion in certain bands. Their oscilloscope is dope too, again... free. Also, Youlean is a great free loudness monitor.
@@gulagwarlord have to try that one! I saw crankdat use it and it sounds nice and transparent so def want to get it, my next purchase will prob be Keyscape though first.
@@yuhyuhtheindigo7085 what do you use instead? I've tried stock drum bus, cymatics diablo, and decapitator but Knock is my go to, simple and nice clean sound.
@@djsyntrix Try Stillwell Major Tom, it's a dope dbx 160 emulation, will make things "knock" for sure. SSL Native has a really cool vst that is cool for drum bus called Drumstrip... if I'm not mistaken.
dude use the other knobs of the maag i love them so much i find when i add with that eq its late in production (decent mix and some eq and processing on my tracks and busses) so it always just adds what i want in there
“It’s not about the gear that you have, it’s about how you use it” with that being said, my personal choice is: Pro L 2, Ableton EQ8, Ableton Utility and Voxengo SPAN
1) 2:04 - Brainworx BX Saturator - Mid/side saturator
2) 5:30 - GHZ VULF Compressor - Boutiquey compressor / lo-fi enabler / cray ze
3) 7:45 - Plugin Alliance MAAG EQ4 - Adding air in high end
4) 10:30 - UAD EMT 140 Reverb - All-purpose reverb
5) 12:58 - Fabfilter Pro-L2 - Limiter
6) 16:17 - iZotope Imager - Multi-band stereo imager
7) 18:17- Fabfilter Pro-Q3 - Legendary EQ
8) 21:10 - Ableton Utility - Width control + more
9) 23:34 - Waves WLM Meter - It’s a meter bro
10) 25:19 - SPL’s Transient Designer - OG transient shaper
Amazing work. I wish the subscribers of this channel could collectively pay someone like you for timestamping these videos.
@@mkjaerkjersson7749 Thanks mate! No payment needed but would definitely appreciate checking me out on Spotify or SoundCloud 😝

My top 5 other than what you listed would be: Saturn 2, Knock, Soothe2, Standard Clip, & Little Alterboy. 🔥
Soothe is great. I find myself liking Gulfoss more and more lately.
Knock so overrated lol
