I don’t shoot game but I cherish this my culture and heritage. It is a privilege to see these beautiful museum pieces given back to their duty. It honours those long dead craftsmen.
Wonderful! Truly classic eccentric English, trust they had a good pint of English ale or bitter with a pork pie for lunch. Johnathon, thank you agin for a lovely piece of entertainment. Hammers back, best wishes to all Bob from Oz.
I did a little beating when I live in England but only found that they have pheasant drives in New Zealand four years ago! So, I joined up and have done it ever since and love it. At the end of the season the beaters get a shoot and sometimes two. I alway use my Jonathan Jones 12g percussion muzzle loader on the first shoot. Then if we get a second, I use my Husqvarna 12g SxS hammer shotgun with BP cartridges. Unfortunately we only have driven birds and no walk ups for the beaters. This is on the Craigmore Station in Canterbury, New Zealand. I would like to see more black powder shoots on UA-cam.
It’s always good to see when a shoot that I go to gets put on a channel like this Carn’t count the times I’ve watched BP days at this shoot are brilliant
These are some fantastic old guns, I'm just starting out but I do dream one day of having an old side by side and a hand full of pheasant at the end of a good day.
Love it just up my street that. I shoot a sxs 16 bore non ejector hammer gun Baikal and i love it. Top job with this video keep up the good work cheers
Shooting Photography by Jonathan M. McGee especially for black powder days! It's all about the bang, and the smell. Seeing as it's purely a visual/audible medium, maybe just the bang haha
Benjamin Yip ua-cam.com/video/RLPcJlYn_Vo/v-deo.html enjoy some real visual dynamics hunting , these pussies are hunting farm peasants and calling them it’s coming haha 😂 and even more than 15 people still missing it.
Beautiful work! The rich only hunt there right, and it's more pen raised birds , the average jo can't just go out and hunt on public land during the appropriate season is really sad, or can they? Makes me greatful I can in North America but I do respect the safety and your gunlaws there a little to tight for me but great work .
I'd love to... have an english hopkins Muzzleloader 12 g.twist barrels And a WW greener hammer cartridge Twist barreled 12g also a husqvarna model 20A hammer double in the Le faucheux style
The sad thing is I bet in your country those black powder shotguns are regulated the same as a modern shotgun in the United States of black powder gun is not even considered a firearm they're over-the-counter free to purchase

Random question... what is the music set to this video? Been looking for something like this for a project.

What are the laws about owning muzzle loading shotguns and black powder guns in the uk?
You need a firearm license to own one. It also has to be stored at a police station.
