the 1650 is fine with this game-the problem is ram. you need 32gb for this to run well-it uses 22gb now by itself. if you only have 16gb of physical ram then page file is going to get hit hard. you'll see this as increased CPU usage & visual stuttering. the GPU isn't the issue here-it's ram, most people don't have 32gb... i run hwinfo64+rtss and saw the RAM bottleneck immediately when i realized my RAM was 99% full-this is the only game I've played that uses this much ram. other than star citizen, 16gb is good for everyhting else..except for this game. playing with a ryzen 5600h+gtx1650 is playable with 32gb. with 16..its stuttery.
Question, i'm having a similar setup, got an AMD Ryzen 4600G is this CPU enough to run star citizen ?? the frequency is 3.7 GHz , i have an 1650 too but only 8GB ram however i'm planning to upgrade to 32 GB RAM if i do so could i run the game ??

Hey man, I have a Lenovo legion tower 5, i5-10400f @2.90ghz with the Gtx 1650 super and 32g system ram. I’ve been worried that I can’t run star citizen. If I can get anything over 30 frames I would buy it. I have elden ring and it runs flawlessly but I don’t think that is a great game to compare star citizen to. What do you think? I don’t want to have another battlefield 2042 experience lol.
yeah Star Citizen is more CPU and Ram dependent if anything I would wait till they do a Free Fly Weekend and you can see how well it works but i'm pretty sure it would not be good
do you recommend it as a multiplayer game with friends? or is it just you?

Turn down particle effects or the cloud effect settings, have heard that's what tanks the fps

I don't understand anything, these specifications are weaker than mine, but I can't go over 10-15 fps, and laging, it's annoying that they destroyed the game with the latest upgrade, otherwise I have gtx1660oc, and i5 8400 6 cores, 16GB ram, I threw away $ 45 for this garbage

@@_shatanos_ seriously. terrible cpu. also if you only have 16gb of ram then page file usage will be high..meaning it's going to be writing/reading from storage frequently. this means stutters & higher CPU usage
32gb is a min.
@@Raptorman386 it's not that, the game was terrible, after all the upgrades, the game was optimized and now everything is fine
