Love this freaking band. Vid is a bit quiet yes. Kept turning up speakers to no avail haha. Funny I saw them live in Philly and me being a more "death black" lover, didn"t really give these guys any time of day or credit. I gave a few more listens out of curiosity and Holy Shit!! In my opinion, one of the most talented and energetic bands ever!!

They actually hate playing festivals and open venues like this because it makes them sound like crap. Heard it from either Greg or Ben in a Fret 12 interview.

phenomenal band. definitely in my fluctuating top 2, but I feel like this performance is not their best. but I will say, I've never strained myself as much as these gentleman do and I can't imagine playing with as much energy that they exert multiple days consecutively. all said, I'd pay to see DEP any day. I miss Gil, though. :(

This mix doesn't capture the explosiveness of this band's sound. After a depressing first day of RoTR with no Soundgarden and rain delays. Then the next morning, this band just rips us all apart and really set the tone for me at the Range
I do this for a living. Terrible audio, you should have just rescheduled for another shoot or something. This band's management has been a dick to me in the past, but you should have just forced them or convinced them reschedule. I wouldn't rip on the video this much if audio was the most important part of it.

BTBAM is even easier to follow. for instance colors never changes tempi a single time. start with this stuff and then work your way up to jazz. it'll teach you a lot about possibilities with rhythms.
