CVT transmission is the most vulnerable to breakdown because of that 'rubber band effect', the torque converter type is also vulnerable to overheating but the DCT is the most reliable because no torque that is coming from the engine does goes to waste

Apparently, the autohold feature of this car will be added in the next software update that Changan promises to send to our shores this December. Once updated, you can activate the autohold feature in the infotainment and it should automatically activate it when you’re stepping on the brakes for a certain period of time. The dash should show that it is activated. Where did I get this info? From another agent and through Changan Philippines customer service email address. I sent them an email to confirm that the autohold feature will really be included in the next software update.
MG is sh**ty bro clutch wont holdup already had 2 units. this drives a little bit better but transmission of geely own version DCT is better than changan definitely. But for the price this is ok. No one can answer now hoping it will last.

We only have an AT Innova 2013 and I jist shift to 3 or 2 if I want instant tourque for overtaking and steep climb. We are really eyeing this as an alternative car when I'm not using my Innova as people hauler.

Great review! Went to MOA last night to try the 55 in the small track so I didnt have the chance to test the "delay" of the DCT. One question tho, re: auto hold, will it be available for those who will buy the car now? Or we wait for the updated version? Thanks

Don't buy a Changan. I own one and the build quality is very poor.I would and should have got a Toyota which is always going to be in demand and have spare parts available. I'm now told there are only 2 Changan service centre's now in Luzon. Very difficult to sell and has lost a lot of money

How about the AEB...they said that it detects the car on your side when overtaking and it tends to slow you down instead?
