It’s two hours earlier here on my Holliday then at my home town so I totally forgot this was already on! Isn’t this one great !!! I am enjoying my birthday at the beach … let me know what you think of these lovely’s sisters !!
That are not my daughters but I'm proud of them as though they were. Most of us will support them unconditionally. They are wonderful human beings. (Completely aside from being insanely talented.) Happy birthday!!
It's an original. That was a fun show. They were at the Sirius XM studios for a live show with Mark Goodman, formerly one of the OG VJ's from MTV. There is a video of the whole show which includes a long form interview segment with a 4 song set from the Mayday EP.
If I remember correctly, they were doing a show later this day and were saving their full energy for that audience. If they sound this good here, you can imagine how they do when on stage. Full blown, bad-ass rockers.
Every one is a first-class musician. Like many bass players, Ale is grossly underappreciated. Just watch reactions from bass players. Dany's voice is extraordinary. Extraordinarily strong and clear, though she has a good growl as well. And her power is off the charts. We older folks n the Warning Army think of them as daughters. Beyond that, I consider this the only band I am aware of that one can literally fall in love with.
Live is where these amazing sisters excel! Keep in mind they were jammed in tight quarters here and tethered with headphones. Give them a proper stage and watch them explode!
Three incredible young ladies that are all in on their concerts whether for 50 people or 50,000. Dany - guitar, lead vocals, piano Pau - drums, backing and lead vocals, piano Ale - bass, backing vocals, piano The guitarist and bassist also played saxophone when they were in school. All 3 are capable of singing lead though the bass player will only do that reluctantly if her sister has a cold or just needs to rest her voice. The drummer, Pau, sings lead on some of their songs even while drumming though she will also come out from behind her drums and dominate the stage at times. She is also the most likely one to sing emotion tugging ballads. Pau is the one that initiates most of their songs though they have each written songs by themselves. Their normal process is that all of them are involved in every song regardless of which one of them has the original idea. They have produced an EP, a single and 2 studio albums as an independent band and then a third album after signing with Lava/Republic Records in 2020. Last year they did over 100 shows across 5 countries, twenty some as the headliners. They spent most of the summer touring with Halestorm and then in November with Three Days Grace in Canada before finishing out their touring schedule playing a large festival in Bogotá Colombia and doing their last concert of the year in Lima Peru. They are extremely hard working and very involved with their fan community. I've seen them described as the nicest badass rockers in existence. They have a very active Patreon community for which they often do extra content. Most of their songs are in English though their first language is Spanish. At least the two older sisters speak some French as well but preface anything they have done in that language by saying they are not fluent. So far in 2023 they have opened 4 stadium shows for Muse and have talked about working on new songs. Subscribed since you are doing both The Warning and Nightwish.
What so many don't get, is that the "hair bands" from the 80's were considered the beginning of metal. I would say that The Warning are a great mix of OG metal, hard rock, rock, grunge, punk, power ballads, ballads, with a touch of kpop, and country. In other words, it's The Warning sound! 👍♥️🤘
The first reference to “heavy metal,” was from Steppenwolf. The lyrics in their song “Born to Be Wild,” included the phrase “heavy metal thunder.” Iron Butterfly released their first album titled “Heavy,” in 1968 which was a perfect description for their extraordinarily heavy sounding psychedelic rock. Around and before Black Sabbath we (the inclusive “we”) considered bands like GFR, Steppenwolf, Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple as “hard rock.” Black Sabbath began charting a new even heavier sound that began to be used to describe their music as “heavy metal,” around 1970 or 71. The “hair band,” era of “heavy metal” began with Van Halen in the early 80s.
Hope you are having a great birthday! This a glimpse into The Warning's songwriting and they have over 40 other originals in their discography. This particular series of videos from SiriusXM was recorded during their US tour last year. They performed a handful of songs in this session from their recent "ERROR" album, including "Martirio", a great and epic Spanish song that I recommend.
I saw them live and, wow, amazing, very professional, excellent performance, they take that the sound quality is the best possible without too much volume and distorsion
The first I saw them live, it was very loud, more than 110dBA right in front of the stage, but super clean and clear. The second time, we were back near the sound mix, not as loud, still clean and clear, but Ale’s bass could have been louder.
Nice reaction, good choice of performance! This radio session was totally awesome! Especially the longer, older fans feel like proud parents or uncles about what these sisters achieved in the last couple of years! I hope to see them live in June, they’ll go to Europe, and confirmed a huge festival 90 minutes from my place in Germany… as their supporter on Patreon, I will have to go! Must see them! Thanks, and greetings from Germany, have a nice weekend! And you could see them live too! It‘s Rock am Ring, Nürburgring, Eifel, not far from the Netherlands! 👍⚡️🤘
OMG! Stop arguing they are not heavy metal, guys! We all know they cannot be kept into a one-style-only box but it’s a fact that they DO HAVE SEVERAL HEAVY METAL SONGS! Dull Knives, Copper Bullets, Ugh, QOTMS, Evolve are pure classic heavy metal songs. You can call’em what you want but please, for god!s sake, don’t try to correct people who want to call them otherwise. 🙏🏼
Enjoyed your reaction, though kind of surprised you didn’t comment on the lyrics given your mental health background. According to Pau, it’s about feeling overwhelmed by your emotions but wanting to deal with it yourself. Subbing for more of The Warning. 😎👍
Happy birthday! Thank you for another great reaction. Hopefully, you do get to see them live; they are full of energy with studio quality live performances. 🤘😎❤️⚠️
A great job of reacting! I’m glad you enjoyed it so much! Happy birthday! 🎂🎈🎉🎁🎊 Yes, this song is all original. They do only a couple of covers, with Almost all of their material being original. They are destined for greatness. 😊👍🤟
It seemed like they were a little uncomfortable with their surroundings. Ale's usually moving around with her bass, as does Dany, but that just goes to show you how professional they've become. After all, they've played in bars, on Ellen, and on a Ted talk, so add a radio station to the list. Happy Birthday. Keep 'em comin'.
Happy Birthday Mamma! Your next stop should be the Spanish guitar assemble named Simfonic playing JS Bach Toccata and Fuga on guitar only. Beside that this girls are my favored band in the rock scene, those man give me the same feel as the Warning does! Get ready for absolute goose bumps!
Great reaction to the "Warning girls" most of what you find is origanals as this there 3rd Album but first for Lava Records there under contract for 5 Albums ,they also did an EP to start there careers "Escape the Mind" and released (Oct. 2021) another one titled "Mayday" when covid resurged which held up release of "Error" Album.
Welkom in de Wonderful World of The Warning!
THE WARNING presente y futuro del ROCK!!!⚡⚡🤘🤘
Happy Birthday! According to Daniela, what they do is "pure rock and roll", though I consider The Warning to be their own genre! All their music is their own. They haven't performed actual covers in several years. Thank you for reacting to The Warning!! Subscribed!
For me they are somewhere between hard rock and metal. From a Mexican point of view they are metal. Most importantly, they are damn good! The song is from them. They are at Rock am Ring / Rock im Park in Germany this summer.
And on that day, among other, there are also at the ring: ARCH ENEMY - Handshake With Hell (OFFICIAL VIDEO) Spiritbox - Circle With Me - Courtney LaPlante live one take performance Architects - "Animals"
Mexican point of view? What a f moronic comment, honestly. How the f do you know about our point of view? Did you conduct a survey and actually asked Mexicans their point of view?
@@madmex123 Sorry, it was presumptuous of me. Mainly because there is no such thing as "the" Mexican. But there is a different knowledge of metal in one area. People in Finland have a different relationship to metal than people in Mexico. In Finland, metal is part of the mainstream and is on the radio with pop music. The average Finn knows a lot more about metal than the average Mexican because they hear metal everywhere. Metal is less prevalent in Mexico than in the US and even less so than in some parts of Europe. In figures: In 2012 there were 53 bands per 100,000 inhabitants in Finland and about 1 in Mexico. The (lack of) knowledge about hard rock and metal is correspondingly deep. The Finns know a lot heavier metal than the Mexicans because the Finns know more metal. The feeling for hardness shifts accordingly. It's like with alcohol: if you drink more, you have a drink with less alcohol than normal. The boundary to metal is shifting with society's relationship to metal. That's why The Warning seems more metal to a Mexican than to a Finn. The Finns are used to harder. An example: Desolate Shrine - The Primordial One
I’m not exactly sure of your point, but just because metal is more main stream in your country, that doesn’t mean we can’t differentiate between metal and hard rock. Again, don’t generalize.
@@madmex123 I'm not saying that no Mexican knows anything about metal. But for the Finns, Metal is as normal as mariachi is for Mexicans. The perception of the average resident for metal and rock is correspondingly different. If I have trouble categorizing The Warning, the Mexicans will have even more trouble. Where is AC/DC located in Mexico? The Warning is harder.
Mama, choke is an original song as are more than 95% of their performances! They are brilliant songwriters as well as musicians. Very enjoyable reaction and I look forward to more. Thank you for recommending that viewers support the warning as should be the case with all featured artists. There are many viewers that do not understand the importance of watching videos to the end, liking, sharing commenting, and subscribing. Those are the things that help boost the UA-cam algorithm for both the artist and reactor for their respective videos and channels. A little education goes a long way if you explain to them how the algorithm increases exposure for your channel and for their favorite artists. If they do the things recommended above, both for the artist videos and yours, they will boost the algorithms for both. You may even project your computer screen at the end of the video and show them how to like comment and subscribe to both your channels. Education typically produces results. Peace and love.
@@MommaTaunT You are welcome. We've worked with over a couple hundred channels recommending better education for viewers about the algorithm and what to do to help their favorite artists and reactors. Visual demonstration is always a great thing to accompany verbal encouragement. Nothing works overnight, but repetition is key to get results. Peace out.
Not sure why so many want to put labels on bands. They play great music, from rock, hard rock, punk rock, and even pop. Depends on the song. Enjoy the great music. Is metallica a metal band? Because these girls do metallica covers exceptionally well.
Great reaction! I have been a subscriber since your first The Warning reaction! Everything The Warning does these days (Except Enter Sandman) are originals. They are amazing writers, amazing musicians, and amazing performers..... BUT they are even better people. So humble, so hard working, and so down to earth. And yes, their parents are very proud. So many of us in The Warning Army consider them our adopted daughters that we also beam with pride and are fiercely protective of them.
