Thank you for your detailed videos! I learn so much and the products are so cute! I'm new to using resin, I sometimes hear to work in well ventilated area and have a gas mask. For the UV Resin bottle does the same precautions apply? Thank you!
You are so welcome! I’m so glad that it was helpful 😊 yes, you should ventilate your room and wear the mask if you’d like. The uv resin I use has no VOC and I don’t really notice its odor.
Do you sand all your shrink plastics (for all your shrink plastic creations) or only for this hedgehog earrings? if yes, why? I would like to understand the purpose of this step. if this because it is too glossy to draw on with colour pencils?
Very cute, and I just love that shiny look! Having said that, I hear it’s pretty toxic stuff, do you wear a good mask and have ventilation? Also may I ask why you got the Cricut to do a few passes to cut the shapes out?
The uv resin that I use says non-toxic but I still do ventilate my work room. Just one of two passes won’t cut through the shrink plastic, so I do at least 3 passes.
@@nekoboxusWhen UV resin is labeled as 'non-toxic,' this usually refers to direct skin toxicity concerning fully cured resin. However, even 'non-toxic' UV resin can still release fumes that may be unhealthy. To avoid long-term effects, you should ensure proper ventilation and wear a respirator mask and gloves for added safety. Please be careful love.
Hey, how much does plastic shrink to its original size? Is it 50% or 20%? Can you tell me approximately? I found one that is cheaper, but it shrinks to 20% of its original size. Is it worth buying? does it look too tiny?
I forgot to mention in the video that you'll need to clean the sanded shrink plastic before cutting with Cricut machine.
Clean it with what?
This answered all the questions I could think of. Thank you for such a great video. 😊
Thank you so much for the detailed tutorial! This is wonderful, and your creations are so adorable 😍

Yes, I do sand all my shrink plastics. And yes, it’s because I use color pencils/pastel chalks for coloring.

Shrinky Dinks says it shrinks to approximately 1/3 the original size. In this video, the hedgehog had 3.5cm width and shrunk to about 1.5cm width.
@@nekoboxus Thank you so much.
@@shine7835No problem! 😊
What resin do you use?
You can find a link in the description 😊
