Would be great if there were air pump where when you crank it five or 6 times, it then unwinds to suck in air and inflate a storage container. Actually seems like very important thing to exist if it doesn't already.
Dry ice is carbon dioxide. Bad idea to put it in an aquarium. All fish dies. But if the amount of carbon dioxide emissions can be controlled it can only be done in a container that is planted with water plants.
You can just use sodium bicarbonate (baking soda) and citric acid but your making carbon dioxide not oxygen. so this works more for your plants and then they release oxygen.... Downside add too much and you will suffocate your fish.
I'm ok with my $10 air pump that came with an air stone, tubing and check valves. Dry ice though? There is a method of this with 3 hoses and you don't need dry ice and can actually use it in a fish tank.
especially "free"? who will give me a truck of dry ice so that i can produce oxygen for 3 days because you would need huge amounts of it. I'm disappointed in the video
@@rosemarydudley9954 I gave him a thumbs down (has 902 of them so far) and blocked his damn channel as #1 this isn't free. #2 Dry ice gives off CO2 not O2 so not sure what the bubbles are even good for.

It would ne good if it was free amd actualy put oxygen into the tank,but no1 u have to buy the dry ice,so its not free and it wont last verry long,and no 2 its put carbondioxide into the tank which would kill the fish or other water breathing aquatic animal so this is not a good idea if u want it for equatic animals.
if you consider what dry ice costs compared to a water pump, the diy is unnecessary. especially the ice only lasts for a few minutes, so what's the point?
The carbon dioxide from the dry ice will slightly carbonate the water making the fish die. also once the ice is gone so are the bubbles.
