Perhaps Filippa Giordano is really not Maria Calas but with his way of singing, approaching the opera, even those who previously did not listen.

Generally, I do prefer listening to classical music and singing just as it was intended and nowadays so many pieces are rearranged for different voices and instruments. Not much of that works for me but this piece by Filippa did and I am sure that Bellini would have been enchanted.

I can recognise that Maria Callas is in a different league, although there is something about her voice that doesn't quite appeal to me. This is the same with other older performances, but Renee Fleming's version is good, and Anna Netrebko's contemporary version, for me, is sublime.
Nobody will convince me to consider this performance good. My ears literally turned into a pipe from the first minutes of performance to the last note.
