Beautiful shots. I grew up around these tracks, believe it or not, 65 years ago. There were still steam locomotives going then. Look up the history of the railroad bridge over the Norwalk River. It was the site of one of the greatest rail disasters in the Nation until at least that time. The little maintenance house or whatever on the west (left) side of the bridge: I always wanted my home to be that!

Did you notice the "PB" in the catenary at 4:40? just above the wires? For the uninitiated here, it means "Phase Break" some equipment had to drop the pans at such locations, now all they have to do is put the throttle in neutral....and coast through the location...
