    Really cool tips and ideas on how to do a turkey more or less competition style Steve! Breast down is interesting but makes sense and once you flipped it, the skin came out great. Awesome job brother!

      I was thinking the same thing Charlie. I am doing a spatchcocked bird on the 26" Weber... Thinking of flipping it too.

    Beautiful Turkey bro. Awesome tips I need to save this video. So is the skin crispy at all? I hope y'all had a great Thanksgiving.

      THEREALSHOWBBQ thanks bro, the skin isn’t crispy on this one but it’s bite through. The turkey I did last year on the akorn, that guy had crispy skin 👍

    I really love deep fried turkey, but cooking it on the smoker is so much easier.

    • @Cookoutcoach
      @Cookoutcoach  5 років тому

      Sheldon Goff ya know I’ve never actually had deep fried turkey

      @@Cookoutcoach I used to fix it every year, it's really good. I just hate messing with the deep fryer and 3 gallons of hot oil. Now with the pellet smoker it's really easy.
