@@pattihanson7921 same here ❤️ I have this tendency to research a lot so I read and watch content on YT and Reddit. I also like to talk to the owner of the local fountain pen shop in my area. Just remember that no matter what you read or watch, you’ll never know what you’ll actually like until you try them. But the YT content creators both old and new along with the Reddit community can help you discover a lot of things 😊
My Holy Grail is the Sarasa Grand lineup! They are so gorgeous that I have attached them at every single planner/notebook I own. But I use them with black inks only: Uni One refills and a Sarasa MarkOn specifically for a planner where I color code things with highlighters. So I removed all the vintage inks of them and bought UnIball One F in every color available to match the vintage inks. Maybe I am as crazy as you 😂
This was fun. I enjoyed seeing your hacks. I had just received my package from your shop as I was watching this. I had to make another order right away!!
I absolutely agree; the Sarasa Clip 3C is wonderful. Love the Sand Beige and Leaf Green. Excellent ink! Although the 0.4 mm has just a tad more feedback, it is the smoothest 0.4 I've ever written with. Also, writing on smoother paper resolves the feedback issue. Another great pen is the Frixion Zone. This is a pen I got excited over when it was first released. The updated barrel along with the wood and marbled resin grips, which is a nice feature, gives the pen some added weight and a more premium look.
Wow your passion for this subject is awesome. :). Just wanted to mention something as someone who is very much in your target demographic: it's really hard to concentrate on a boxed pencil case for three minutes, or one and a half if you're like and playback at 2x speed. Having visual aids like maybe a flat lay of all your faves to open with, that type of thing gives your viewers a cohesive story of sorts to anchor to. and doesn't force each item to bear the entire workload of the video as it's onscreen.
Juice in Frixion!! I was just frustrating that juice ink is not fit in my uniball one P, but there was solution and I love it! (Because I didn’t like that Juice’s thin body) I am so happy and you save the day :)
Really enjoyed this video! Your hack for the frixion pen is genius BTW hehehe I will be trying the sarasa clip 3c just to try it.. and you convinced me to order the midori paintable stamp and tabs. 😊 If you have another hack for the hi tec c coleto inks I would really appreciate it. I love their inks but the plastic pens are really not professional..
In one of your previous videos you definitely got me hooked on the sarasa 3c pens, though I have never liked multi-pens. But you were so convincing that I gave it a shot and now I have it in nine colors 😳 It quickly became one of my all time favourite pens. Same story with the utoka notebooks. I got three already and they are my favourite by far and I have tried many! Thank you as always for your wonderful recs. I hope you would do monthly favourites!
And plus, I love the blue color in pentel calme, so I ‘m only using bicuña oil ink from pentel, but my hack is ( you might know already but haha) I put those bicuña refil into my dr. Grip multi pen! and also stylefit body works, but I prefer dr.grip body to stylefit and stylefit has no 0.3 sharp unit so…😅😆
for gel pens i absolutely LOVE the zebra sarasa mark on in 0.4mm, it dries so fast and is usually pretty smooth to write with except that it sometimes gets scratchy, which is a problem with thinner tipped pens, i haven't got a solution for that yet….. i often buy the zebra MJF-04 refills and put them in a different body that i like more, like a sarasa clip body!
Great video, thanks for the suggestions. Do you happen to know which 6 colors complete the Sign Brush Pen collection (the set not shown)? I can’t find them anywhere. Pleas and thank you. 💗
"Hard to describe without sounding like a crazy person" is me nerding out about fountain pen friendly papers to my friends lol
Hah! You get it! :)
Please nerd out. I am new and researching. Any help would be awesome

The refill package with lots of colors is a great tip, thank you ❤️
I'm so glad you found that tip helpful!

That sounds like a great way to use those beautiful pens!
I love your enthusiasm! I get that way over gel pens and markers!!!
Nice!

This was quite enjoyable to watch; I have learned quite a bit. You've made me want things I didn't know I needed! 😂
I’m glad you enjoyed it!

So glad you’re trying out those new products! I will see if I can come up with an idea for you on the Coleto. ;)

Thanks for sharing! The .5mm Mark-on should feel smoother for you.

Do you sell the leather tn, is that something you carry?. If not do you mind if I ask where I can purchase it.
Hi - the leather TN in this video is by Van Der Spek, and I do not sell - you can custom order directly through her site. :)
Is there a store front in iowa or is it just completely online?
We used to have a storefront, but we are back to being entirely online now. It's possible we'll have a storefront again in the future. :)
