No you are totally wrong. Harkaat is obviously essential to express the feelings to it's great extent. And don't think that Arijit Singh is not classically trained. He was taught Indian classical music by Rajendra Prasad Hazari. Classical is the soul of music

Arijit said in an interview that he believes that classical is not for performence, it kind of meditation, helps to form musical basics, if you want to be successful in classical music, you should come from a family of classical music, start training from age 5,take training for atleast 10-15 years, then there may be some scope, what about common people like us? Do you know he hadn't taken any formal training in singing from anybody. And he also don't have any family background regarding music.But we all know about his amazing voice. We all are different from these legends, we are not inborn singer so to sing good, training in classical music is necessary. You just take the example of jubin sir He doesn't come from a musical background but he is successful and Well trained in classical music. It doesn't matter from which family background you are from proper dedication and devotion is needed to succeed in any field in life😊

They produce a track and they justify on that track at their best, on this rabindrajayanti respected sir ustad rashid khan was singing a thakur song like a raga, there is a line between this two types of music, u can get in utube, and respectedpandit ajay chakroborty said we do not give importance on words in our raga music, so it is singers spiritualism, think about a common people who is unable to understand the words, only the notes, variations to identify, if he is able to
