    Hi, I bought a C6 last year and it had a M2W switch. It doesn't have a remote but a switch like yours (with 3 prongs) and I don't know how it's wired. I had to take the console out for another issue, and I disconnected all the wires of the M2W but now I don't remember how it used to be wired. The only components are wires, switch and add-a-circuit fuse tap. And I do remember that the add-a-circuit was plugged in the Exhaust Mdl location, not the heated seat location like you did. Can you somehow contact me and walk me through how to put the connections back together?

    I am wondering why does the power have to be supplied using an Add A Circuit? Why can you not just plug one cut spade into left side of the NPP fuse slot and another cut spade into right side of NPP fuse slot and wire it with same switch? You could also put an inline fuse between the wire to the switch. That way you do not have to tap into Heated Seat with an Add A Circuit . Just wondering if that was considered and would give same results. What I believe all of this is simulates with the switch is pulling the NPP fuse out and putting fuse back in. Any thoughts or clarifications would much be appreciated

      I’m not an electrician so I just followed previous solutions. I’d be very curious to know if your solution works also!

    Great video man. I'm gonna do mine just like that.

      HuskyMoto Cheers! I was out for a drive today and love the setup. I usually only hit the switch when I’m in 6th gear at highway speed when my OEM mufflers start droning.

      @@ZWHOA6Productions funny thing is. I have a 6 pak of those same switches that I bought on Ebay. I used one for my 6' light bar on my supermoto and haven had use for any since. Lol I just picked up a 07 Zo6 with one owner 2,800 miles on it for 25,000 from an older guy and have been searching for all sorts of easy mods since. Yer video is one of the best ones out there on this simple mod. Keep it up dude.

    I've got a cold start video up with the M2W switch opening and closing. I'm just a little s/c LS3 so I've got cube envy with you LS7 guys but with heads/cam and headers it's PLENTY loud. The only reason I would want something different is for the looks.
    Keep up the vids! I just sub'd.

      Thanks for subbing! I loved the Corsa's that were on the car when I bought it, but the drone at highway RPMs was just too much. So I put on an OEM system and did this custom NPP switch. I really enjoy it. I rarely close the valves unless I'm on a longer drive on the highway. Cheers!

      Agreed. I love the stock exhaust when it's opened up but it's nice to close it down and take a phone call. With the longtubes, it really causes these motors to scream through the stock setup WHEN you want it thanks to the M2W switch. I do like the look of that Arkapovic system though.

      That system looks great for sure! Is it worth $2500? Meh, not so much, at least to me. :) I picked up my used OEM system in like new condition for $400.

    Yo im planning to get a 2006 z06 pretty soon and was wondering like any tips on what to look for or like a nice price?

      Bakir Bakir Check out the for sale section Corvetteforum.com. Most owners there are very educated and understand the good and bad of these cars. As for the bad’s, there’s not many. For the 06 model year, there were a few recalls like the roof. But the biggest concern is the valve guides in the heads as you are probably aware. All Z06’s are at risk of the machining error from the factory. Try to find a Z that has already had the heads addressed. Everything else is pretty minor and inexpensive and what I would consider routine maintenance items. If you have specific questions let me know, I’ll do my best to answer! Good luck!

    How loud was the car with the valves open? I have a borla touring with headers but I'm wondering if the npp is louder

    • @ZWHOA6Productions
      @ZWHOA6Productions  6 років тому

      I can only compare them to Corsa's. I think most aftermarket systems, if not all, would be louder than the OEM NPP's in open mode. My Corsa's definitely were. So I'm guessing your Borla's would be too. Maybe not too much louder, but louder for sure.

      my borla is super quiet

      I should have qualified my statement. I can only compare with headers/cam/intake. Is your car stock? If so, I can't relaly offer an accurate reply.

    I like how you installed that switch. Does that switch need to be grounded or no ?

    • @ZWHOA6Productions
      @ZWHOA6Productions  5 років тому

      Jeremy Green Yes it’s grounded via the add a fuse on the fuse panel in the footwell.
