Thank you for the review, it's much appreciated 👍 Is the supplied Ethernet cable CAT6 or CAT6e? I'd also hope it's 600V rated; gotta stay compliant with my local ordinance... Also (anyone, please correct me if I'm wrong) I believe your supplied ring terminal wire should be rated the same. By NEC code it's "bonding" not a "grounding wire". No worries, or hate, just an observation. Thank you for what your doing for this great community 🙏🔋.
Thanks for the info! I'm about to buy the exact same batteries and was curious on the length of the parallel kit. Question: you have a link to the indoor boxes, but those look like the outdoor conduit boxes. I like the latch--did you have any issues with those not being quite right?
Wouldn't you want the positive from one battery and the negative from the other to the inverter? This connection would draw more from the first battery.
Great Video. Thank you! How did you balance the batter voltages before connecting them? If there was a difference in their voltages wouldn’t that risk damage?
driving me crazy wasting time confirming this... THANK YOU. "EG4 PowerPro Battery Paralleling Cables" works with "EG4 6000XP"
Wonderful explanation as always. Appreciate the watch!
Good video man, lots of detail which is very important.
Excellent Demo!
Yep it's the same as the one that came with my power pros (weather resistant)

Where do you see the connection of the batteries on the website for the batteries?

What is the overall width of this? Planning the size of where this same setup will fit
Great Video. Thank you!

the best solution i've found was to charge them up to 100% and let it stabilize there for a while before connecting them together.
what size conduit did you use between the two (2) batteries?
Did you need to modify the cabinet for the 6000xp or indoor batteries?
no modifications are needed for the cabinet
Could you use the extra cables and splice them together to make a parallel cable
I've wondered the same thing, or if they sell the connector by itself so we could add it to the other end
NIce demo. I guess this requires your backup generator to be 240 volts?
If you’re using the 6000xp yes. If you’re using a chargeverter then you can use either 240 or 120
So you need to connect two negatives and two positives to parallel ?
