- Heathrow POD Parking at LHR Terminal 5
POD parking is a great, innovative way to park your car at the airport. The POD track links you directly to Heathrow Terminal 5. It takes a short 4-6 minutes from parking you car to getting to Terminal 5.
Once you arrive at Terminal 5, it's a short walk to the lift which takes you up to level 5 for departures.
POD is very convenient and can be booked directly on the Heathrow Airport Website.
From Heathrow Terminal 5, you can connect to other Heathrow terminals via the Heathrow Express.

I'm a big fan of the pods at Express Parking! Although, it would be cute to see little windscreen wipers on them too! 😄

never been on one yet as i live in Oldham, bit far to go just to ride a pod. but ive been fascinated by them ever since finding out they were a thing. I have a disability, wheelchair user, and due to related stuff i cant drive, these would be a great way of getting around, I like the local tram system we have but not when they get crowded, it can feel a bit claustrophobic, these would be perfect, private, A to B, look nice. i actually want one lol

Those pods are magical, like your own monorail !!! I love them!!! About how fast do they go? They seem to get quite close to the pods coming in the other direction!!! How far apart are they? I think they are needed at Sydney and Melbourne International Airports.
We will stay at Thistle Hotel which is near the Pod cable car station. What do you mean by book directly with Heathrow Airport Website? I'm confused with this.
I would travel all the way to London just to ride them.

Can you put up the exact postcode for the POD parking (not for business parking and not for terminal 5 but for the precise POD location which I don't think is TW6 2GA (T5 generally) but may be TW6 2RL)
Too late for you no doubt, but for anyone else, the Latitude & Longitude, as far as I can determine, is approx: 51.47927, -0.48868 - This is from Openstreetmap.org, and based on the roundabout just outside the POD carpark.
Sadly, at the time of writing this (28 Mar 2022 ) the PODs are suspended, and replaced by a bus service.

Are there trolleys available for people with lots of luggage?
This pod is powered by DC motor or AC motor
Any tips on where to book these? Not showing on the Heathrow parking site?
We've only ever booked direct on the Heathrow parking website, sometimes it doesn't show up when its sold out or too far in advance. Hope you manage to book!

If you notice that I should have stopped on the web a couple minutes ago and I figured out that those Heathrow pods what invented in 2011, maybe next time you can visit the Saint Louis and you should take in magnificent ride on the st. Louis MetroLink, I wrote it before and I took millions of videos you have it show if you want you can go to my channel and check them out
Pods are on the wrong side of the road....tracks.....whatever. 😒
