    Good video. Seldom mentioned is that these dams were not only built for power generation, but also flood and erosion control. On the Missouri river as well.

    So you would say "20 million years ago people didn’t exist?" But only for 6 thousand years? Doesn’t add up😂😂🤣

      ??? The earliest known 'humans' evolved around 2 million years ago in Africa and migrated North to Europe and North America. The first humans arrived in North America around 20, 000 years ago. Some controversy on the dates. The earliest evidence of humans along the Columbia River above Bonneville dates back to around 10-15,000 years after the last Ice Age. Hope that helps clear up any confusion.

    I remember a friend telling me that he saw a sturgeon with a tag using the Bonneville dam lock to get up river. I didn't believe him till he showed me that data
