- Welcome to a brand new Minecraft series on my channel, Double Life! The goal of the series is fairly simple, don't die! Or at least be the last ones to do so! Each player starts the series with 3 hearts! This time however, you will be randomly linked with one other player as your Soulmate, so when they take damage you take damage! And if they lose a life, so do you! We also are using a proximity voice chat mod, so it leads to a lot of random and funny interactions with people on the server!

it's funny that if you think about it, the 3g alliance still technically exists because scott (gatekeep) is physically choosing cleo (gaslight) but is connected to pearl (girlboss) life wise. gotta love it when technicalities are brought into the equation

On the first few episodes (btw the first time i ever watched double life it was pearl’s perspective) i HATED Scott for leaving pearl! Also they abandoned Girlboss ✨
I was watching Pearl and I was like “if Scott and Pearl are soulmates I’m gonna cry of laughter” turns out I ended up dying of laughter it was so funny
I'm not sure which is my favorite: Scott and Cleo choosing their own future and saying screw fate, or bdubs and impulse leaning into the marriage thing even though they're both married straight men lmao. happy pride month y'all!

This alliance is actually really smart, cause when they fight others only one of them will get hurt at a time where as others will get hurt together and die quicker no matter how good they are at pvp. Scott and Cleo are 1000 IQ

I just realized something, if soulmates ever went up against eachother they could use su!cide as leverage. Like just stand there with no armor on with a lava bucket and threaten to kill both of them. It would be SO EFFECTIVE, especially if you're someone who wouldn't mind being a red or yellow life and the other would want to be green.

yeah it’s like a minecraft pro couple and their entrance was the best thing that’s been since bread.
While Cleo and Scott's soulmates are off nearly dying they are now soulmates and all I think about is maybe they're filing for divorce with Martin and Pearl.
It’s honestly so funny that it’s almost the exact same group as last time. Like fate really said “oh you partnered with Pearl last season? You’re now soul bound to her :D”

In Pearls defense; Scott decided she was cheating on him before she had any idea who her partner is. I feel really bad for where Martyn left her at the end of her session, so I'm really hoping someone will take her in soon, she doesn't deserve to be the outcast she has been turned into IMO.

I love how it’s like a classic royal movie where there is a prince/princess who is in an arranged marriage (Scott) but they don’t love the person they are going to be married to (pearl) instead they love someone else (Cleo) who the parents and other people don’t approve of (jimmy for example)
First there’s Bdubs and Impulse who found each other and are very lovey dovey..
Then there’s Etho and Joel who found each other and are bragging to everyone..
Then there’s Scott and Cleo 🤣🤣🤣
I mean... Martyn did kinda drag a reluctant Pearl along. 😂 There's a reason that before Pearl entered the nether, you were causing more damage to your hearts than she was. She was being extremely careful... 😅 And then along came Martyn.
(And to be fair, before Pearl entered the nether, she had narrowed her list down to you, Cleo, and one or two others... So it isn't like she didn't try. Y'all were both unlucky and then Martyn cut her search off short 😂)

Also, around 13:20 they were in the same cave. While Scott was exploring the sculk stuff, Pearl was nearby smelting her iron. If he'd just right clicked the horn he was holding, they surely would have found each other right then.
and then on top of all that martyn goes and abandons pearl. she got done dirty.
Pearl absolutely did not deserve what she got in this episode and I'm looking forward to watching how that comes back to bite Scott throughout the series

When I saw Scott and Cleo roaming together on someone else’s episode, I thought ‘if those two are soulmates, they’ve already won the series’. I was also curious about what would happen if soulmates did betray each other, so to learn that this is what was going on? I love it. This is gonna be one of my favourite perspectives for sure, and I can’t wait for more!
I love how I’m each season Scott and Cleo have been together started with the widows then gatekeep girl boss and gaslight now it’s chosen soulmates
This definitely feels very different and will be pretty short, but we’ll see. Also cool to see someone not team up with soulmates, would be interesting to see soulmates on opposing sides.

At this point, I think Scott and Cleo's widows' bond is so strong that if they weren't paired as soulmates by the server this is the only way it could have gone. A shame that Gaslight gatekeep girlboss couldn't have lasted two seasons, but it's good to see Scott and Cleo allied from the beginning this time!

Fun fact the "bad horns" is the exact same sound a traditional brasilian horn known as a berrante makes. People would use these on farms, festivals, and people have made full blown careers from it. I have a mini one but the full dizer version makes the sound of the "bad horn" lol
And they were actually using it properly to which is that they used it to signal or even communicate briefly with people on the farms

When people start turning red and attacking one another, soulmates will need to stick together. I’m sad that Pearl and Scott have broken up, but I’m sure that they’ll get back together at some point. And them becoming bffs with each other’s soulmates will ultimately reside in a really strong alliance! So even though I can’t say I’m not upset, it seems like this will actually give both teams a bigger advantage later on.

Imagine two soulmates go against each other, but one is suicidal, while the other wants to live. It would turn into a Man-save series, where you are just following your soulmate, and stopping them from committing suicide.

To be honest this whole drama is Martin's fault. He dragged Pearl into the nether while she was searching for her soulmate and then just abandoned her at the end of the session.
