Since the chainsaw chain on cuts on one side, how do you make sure you get that side against the piece of wood? Do you just keep rolling the rope around until it works?
Can buy chains with both side cutters(Amazon 48 inch).Can also use a fishing pole and a triangle sinker.Tie fishing line to clothes line, then to final thicker rope. Cutting at extreme angles from the tree branch,alternating sides,will help keep from tearing the bark on the bottom of the branch. Make sure to lubricate chain, grease works well.This process will kill a person in short order!

I like to tie off branches now to prevent them from swinging into me or something else.
