ASMR Whisper - Building Lego Kit During A Calming Storm

- Join me in the first of potentially several videos where I put together small Lego kits while while whispering. The video features lots of tiny object sounds, mouth sounds, and a calm storm with light rain patterns outside of my window. I hope you enjoy it :)

It changes with every video while I experiment with different mics and recorders. This was recorded using a self-made binaural microphone recorded through a USB interface into a Macbook Air. I cleaned up the recording in Audacity using it's pretty solid noise reduction. Thanks for your kind words :)

I've just recently discovered ASMR videos and I've explored a lot of different channels. Your channel is by far my favorite and this video is by far my favorite. I love the soft intensity of your voice along with the natural sounds of talking not being to loud, but just perfect. I also love the natural sounds of the items and of course, to add on to the perfection of this video, the storm.

The storm was going on during the video, but I had it mic'ed up at my window to sound fuller in the mix. Thank you for the kind words!
I loved this, it reminded me of watching my brothers play with legos when I was little. I was having a panic attack when I started this video and now I am relaxed about to lay down. i think i will find another of your videos to hopefully fall asleep to.

I've watched this like 12 times and still haven't made it to the end. That's how you know it's good. Suggestion would be to mute intro, go over the words on box and directions, but I like how you don't spend to much time tapping and messing around. Tapping and touching are only good briefly exactly how you do it. My opinion of corse

Safety scissors get the job done too.
Young children need the effort, it helps them become fit. It also makes playtime more fun. I recall overcoming effort made me feel like a superhero.

Legos are great, and oddly underused in asmr videos. The only time I recall seing them was long ago by the Great and Powerful SoundSculptures.

In Lego's defense, they do still make the big boxes of random bricks XD
What would usually end up happening with our Legos was we'd build the set, it'd eventually get taken apart and thrown into the box with everything else, and we'd just have a whole mess of pieces anyway lol. We built a rocket ship that had pieces of Hogwarts and pieces of a pirate ship :D

I have definitely noticed this shift in Lego kits as well. I was playing with them a lot in the 80's, and even 10 years after the period to which you are referring, there were TONS of kits for general purpose building. Now all you see is the predetermined stuff in stores. Thanks for the thoughtful comment.

My wife found all my Legos from when I was a kid and played with them. She said she used to love them and now you can't use your imagination because every single Lego kit shoes you what you are supposed to build. Just to add support to the last few comments below.
