I personally feel like they should give them a black and gold colour scheme but give some of them terrifying manipulator arms. Also I will miss the bronze daleks as I've grown up with them since I was five.
They are truly fantastic! Credit for all the concepts are in the description, but yeah a design like this would be brilliant and I can see it working with Ncutis style of Doctor Who!
I feel daleks should at least preserve the future tanky design maybe have some more emphasis on the optics and maybe add thermals or futuristic equivalent they also fight the Cybermen alot so maybe they've got special changes they made to fight them

What I'd like to see is a group of Daleks that flee, find their own world and create a new society for themselves, with no need to conquer and free from their less enlightened kin.
At the moment i feel that daleks are suffering from success, they have "no weaknesses" and are "the deadliest creatures of the universe", i would love the focus to shift into the malice of the daleks, the experiments and the horror potential, eg daleks of manhattan, blood of the daleks, time of the daleks, and The Monster of Montmartre, i know some of them are big finish stories but i feel like they superbly explore the horror scifi angle that the daleks provide.

I fully agree Daleks should move away from the tank look and towards the sleeker - though tbh the Witches Familiar shows a 100% classic design holds up and looks good as long as its made to a high quality (and not wobbly or dented). Definitely need to move away from the bronze, bring back the silver and give us metallic coloured livery (the Paradigm repaints actually had gorgeous colours but by that point they were already abandoned). Most important is that the Daleks be portrayed as living character sand not emotionless / one emotion drones. Daleks in Manhatten / Evolution of the Daleks was actually brilliant at this, even if they're not my favourite stories. Honestly Chibnall era Dalek writing is actually quite good for this too, even if I have....*opinions* on the rest of it.

Please just this time for real retire the 2005 bronze daleks forever. we have had them for far too long! Its just these daleks have been getting overused all over again and again! its getting really boring nowadays they been defeated so many times they been treated like a joke. I think that we not only need a drastic redesign of the daleks but also dor the daleks to break apart into splinter factions all vying for dominance and control. The Renegades and Imperials joined together to fight in the Time War. But the Time War has been over for a long time now and the Daleks have lost their touch. Bring in the redesigned pepper shakers along with a faction or two that thinks "peace through supremacy" or "dominance through power" and suddenly there's a whole new level of fear. Instead of going around with circular logic like "I'm superior cause I say so" they utilize "I'm superior cause I'm better than you" or "I'm killing you to save everyone else" and suddenly you have daleks on a power trip or on a righteous crusade of belief and that's FAR more terrifying as its realistic.
heres some ideas a return to the supreme council with is basically every supreme dalek from throughout history, and their brought together by the dalek time stratigesit who's survived the time war and is looking to become the new dalek emporer. theres aso the idea of brining back dalek concept art as alternate universe daleks. and finally finally davros joins and takes control of the cybermen the daleks try to fight them with armies of robomen but find out that they've simply made an army of cybermen waiting to be taken control of by the cyberiad

The _design_ of the Daleks is less important than the story. We need to see a story where the Daleks win or at least have a partial win. We need to see that they are a _superior_ race and credible threat. No more 'Donna turns a dial and makes them all spin' nonsense. Maybe the Daleks exterminate a companion or the Doctor thwarts what he thinks was their plan only to discover it was a side-quest intended to distract him from their main objective which they succeed with. Or even a whole spin-off type episode with very little doctor at all where we see the Daleks WIN when the doctor isn't there to stop them. That said it would be nice to see a few variants of the NSD/2005 design, even if it was just a few alternate colour schemes.
The Daleks needs a long long long long long long long long long long long term break. We don't need them in the new series and honestly don't want them to return. They have been around in the NEW Series for far too long. Look at Tom Baker era, they have 2 daleks stories over his 7 year run

Didn't like "Dalek assimilated humans" because... too easy. (if they had that tech, wouldn't it have nano-spread over every planet by now?) I like really weird designs, so hope for more of those... "Ironsides" were hilarious!

It will always be some variation of "exterminate anything that is not a True Dalek," With the definition of "True Dalek" varying as to whether or not to include rival factions or experiments, or whether or not they appreciate the 'beauty' of the Doctor's undiluted Hatred towards them, a hatred that may even exceed their own hatred of all non-Dalek life.
For all of the Daleks of course it will always default back to their core beliefs, but I think it would be interesting to explore some solo Daleks which differ from this like Dalek Sec and Caan :)

Rather pointless to redesign the Daleks since the doctor's plot armour never makes them a true credible threat. The only way to change the Daleks is to change their behaviour into three dimensional personalities but that would go against everything they represented before.

But if they made the Daleks individualistic with names and more clever plots, able to look beyond just exterminating, then they would be a far more credible threat and truly sinister with the ability to fool and outwit the doctor. And they should bring back the Paradigm Daleks as an officer class for the Daleks. They already got the props for them.
Honestly I think it’s time for a new design the bronze design has done it’s time now as the post time war arc concluded in twice upon a time the bronze daleks where great during the first 5 new series doctors eras and I feel like power of the doctor would be a great closer to the bronze dalek era
Agreed! The Bronze Daleks definitely worked while we were still feeling the effects of the time war with the doctor. But the doctor has more or less let go of the time war drama now, so he has moved on as a character and it’s time to move the Daleks on too!

But the problem was that their colors make them look like toys and of course the design of the Paradigm Daleks wasn't that great.

Dalek changes aren’t needed for Merch, they’re needed because the Daleks feel stale now. The main things the Daleks need are new stories

Rather pointless to redesign the Daleks since the doctor's plot armour never makes them a true credible threat. The only way to change the Daleks is to change their behaviour into three dimensional personalities but that would go against everything they represented before.

@@forcedalek honestly I haven't watched the show since Victory of the Daleks.
But if they made the Daleks individualistic with names and more clever plots, able to look beyond just exterminating, then they would be a far more credible threat and truly sinister with the ability to fool and outwit the doctor. And they should bring back the Paradigm Daleks as an officer class for the Daleks. They already got the props for them.

Honestly I think it’s time for a new design the bronze design has done it’s time now as the post time war arc concluded in twice upon a time the bronze daleks where great during the first 5 new series doctors eras and I feel like power of the doctor would be a great closer to the bronze dalek era
Agreed! The Bronze Daleks definitely worked while we were still feeling the effects of the time war with the doctor.
But the doctor has more or less let go of the time war drama now, so he has moved on as a character and it’s time to move the Daleks on too!

@@forcedalek mate don't try to pull the wool, you've changed the title now so my comment is less relevant than it was before, but it doesn't change the fact that this video was designed to pull in views from people who would think this was the new Dalek design for Series 14.
Good on you for changing the title though, it at least shows that you knew you were in the wrong and took steps to make it right, which I respect. Nice review of Genesis of the Daleks too, just watched that and thought it was great. Honesty and integrity will always prevail
