I love the old cubs fan whipping his towel and yelling at the ump after Fowler struck out. He really had it in his mind the Cubs were gonna comeback down 5 in the ninth and win 4 in row. 😂
@@BaseballRoscoe25 I’m not being sarcastic. I love how passionate he was still even when there was little hope. He really believed in them. And they proved him right next year. That Cubs team was filthy. Mets were just the hotter team then
@@thomasr1596 yeah, I thought the Mets would have been an easier opponent than the Dodgers in 2015, boy was I wrong! And yeah he was passionate, there was little chance the Cubs would have came back and won this game but you might as well try until the very end! This series against the Mets made the Cubs more hungry, they saw that they could win in the postseason with what they had, just needed some additions like Heyward, Lackey and Zobrist and we were good to go!
I wasn’t making fun of the guy I genuinely loved his passion and belief in his team. I thought it was a bit funny. Cubbies won it the next year and very well deserved. Great players on that 2016 team.
the curse broke, remember, we didn't have Zobrist, Heyward or John Lackey in this 2015 run and we still went to the NLCS which was completely unexpected in 2015

Being at Game 4 was the best sports moment of my life
funnt how the day marty and doc go to october 21 2015 the cubs win the ws but in real life they actually have a playoff game
This series made me terrified of the Mets pitching staff; though my Cubs would never be able to topple them to win it all
Embarrassed this year, but what a difference a year made
What happened the next year?
Cubbies won it. Kudos to them for doing what my Mets couldn't. But still proud of my 2015 NL Champion Mets.

They did not have to face this pitching staff again. Or it would have been broom time again.
Patrick Thometz No the Mets choked
