- Cooking Simulator returns to the channel as we attempt to make sushi with the new Sushi DLC!
I'll be honest, if you're thinking "Oh no, Penge is back in the kitchen again" then that's fair, because you can expect the same cooking simulator shenanigans in this video as we've seen in others; incompetence, bumbling and slow service!
We turn up to our new sushi restaurant and take a look around. It's very nice, small but compact, with many exciting gadgets. However time is ticking on so we have to get to things quickly. Well, quickly-ish.
We learn how to cook the sushi rice and season it, we eventually figure out how to make maki rolls, we discover that balls of pickled ginger roll around and there's even a little bit of dabbling with some delicious raw fish nigiri!
There are a few complications along the way, such as my lack of understanding of the different types of maki and a bit of confusion with the knife, plus our waving cat isn't waving, plus I drop some stuff on the floor, but other than that it all goes... as you might expect...
Oh, this video features a special appearance from my rice cooker! Yay!
NOTE: This is the Sushi DLC and requires the Cooking Simulator base game to play.

I feel there is a joke somewhere about sushi and cooking, but I can't quite roll it out.
**baddum-tsss**
Aw Penge, you're adorable! Here, have these +15 points for the rice cooker cameo.
Your cooking sim videos are some of your best work and this one is no different!! loved it from start to finish thank you!!
Your RP of not wasting the wasted servings did my heart good.
Literally eating sushi while I watch lol 😆
Lol No soy sauce for the optional extra? Dang. End of the video and im waiting for you to ding the little flag up next to the plate for the passer by folks to see and know your done serving it. Lol all in all, what a fun game.
That is the tune my rice cooker does! 😂 Easter egg for Zojirushi rice cookers?
It's a jolly little tune, isn't it?
Grateful for the wasabi making and the episode.
I love your cooking sim videos! They're pure chaos
Cooking Simulator is great, I'm looking forward to the sequel when it comes out!
That was amazing, was laughing so much 😂😂😂.
Thank you so much Penge.
It also reminded me of a Hello Kitty sushi cooking game i had as a kid. I didn't know then what wasabi was and added tons to the rolls, making Hello Kitty very angry. 😂😂
Loved the vid 😊 made me think of when I did my first attempt at making sushi rolls at home.
I have that same rice cooker Penge 😊 it is so awesome and does more than rice. I've put pancake and regular cake mix in it. Also Mac and cheese and spaghetti 😆
I've only ever cooked rice in my rice cooker! I don't know if I'm brave enough to try other things.
@@TheGeekCupboard You should try some other things in it 😆 it's an awesome kitchen appliance and I've never had anything fail in it. I have faith in you 😊 Also keep up the awesome videos.
Every moment of this video was incredible. Lol, but great job, Penge!!
We made some sushi! Eventually...
LoL oh Penge this has to be my favorite video! I haven’t laughed so hard in a long time! I can’t wait for more of these!! It was brilliant!! I would visit your sushi shop just to watch u cook!!! LoL ❤
Do you mean you'd visit my sushi shop just to watch me fumble around a kitchen in a chaotic disorganised way?
That sounded like the alphabet song to me. Lol (I know it’s the same tune, just having a bit of fun)
Hehe, my rice cooker in South Korea plays a lovely little tune, as does the washing machine, as does the school bell to change periods, as does a lot of the other appliances... there's a pattern here. 🤣
When we went away a few weeks ago we stayed in an AirBnB that had a washing machine. We were surprised to discover it played quite a lengthy tune when the wash cycle was finished, it went on and on for ages!
@@TheGeekCupboard Haha! Yes!! Mine in Korea does too. Was it Samsang by any chance? I've only ever seen appliances in Korea play these lengthy tunes, and every appliance here does that.
44:52 a severed tongue...really? Is that where your mind is, lol. Good vid.
19:15 maybe look at the bottom right corner
Oh yeah! Botherations, I didn't see that!
LOL! I really like wasabi, but that's a LOT of wasabi... 😂
I wasn't quite sure how to handle it in the game, it was indeed a lot, normally you get quite a tiny dollop of it, not a whole bowl full!
Im not a fish guy but it looks like a nice game.
Utter chaos lol
lol Penge soooo much wasabi
😮
