@@TheRaraReport Oh how I Love this video, although in the beginning you left out her “Privilege” 😮 But seriously your comments about her being top 3, if you have not seen it you should check out “WNBA stats” this guy has done his research and made some great comparison videos, he’s done some for MVP? ALL STAR, ROTY (not really needed), he compares all 10 players on the ALL WNBA teams and some others, well worth the watch. Again great video I imagine there will be some sore toes you stepped on, some nasty remarks “For selling out” (ashame that happens when you tell the truth). As a white woman - I PROMISE YOU - if Caitlin Clark was black, I would love her the exact same. If she were black, I would have paid for the same 10 streaming services just to watch her play…. AND drive 12 hours and pay $800 to go see her play in person twice.
I love her game period! The only reason I wouldn’t watch CC if she had a bad attitude, created a bunch of drama, or was a bully like a lot of these other women.

The very saddest part of this year’s WNBA season, makes me privately shed some tears. Caitlin, through out the entire season during various media interactions, verbally stated how, when she was growing up, she idolized, admired, wanted to be like, many of the women who try to degrade her. I can say without a doubt, to meet your childhood hero’s and they turn out to hate that little girl who wanted to be like them. Such a sad thing. The sponsors, the WNBA management, the refe’s, fellow teammate, the sports broadcasters all let down her little girl dreams. Steven A and Shannon stepped up to the plate to help, but to no avail. The pain she is hiding is worst than any flagrant foul. CC, you are loved by millions!

Thank you for putting into words, what her fans have watched her accomplish this season. Checked her ego at the door, worked hard, built her team chemistry, built trust with teammates and fans, and played ball. She stayed above the drama, never reacted to the hatred publicly, stayed true to who she is, and appreciated her fans. She played 40 games, and most of the crowds, were pro- Fever ( not just CC, but the whole team ), and respect her most for signing autographs for the kids, win or lose, home or away, she always took time for the kids.
Maybe the haters could learn something about being a role model and an icon, if they just paid attention.

Kudos to you and all the black men and women podcasters for the honesty, courage, and expertise to tell The Truth about the skill and class of Caitlin Clark in spite of all the criticism from the black community. Nothing infuriated me more than being told that Angel Reese was more deserving of being ROTY than Caitlin when it was obvious that CC was so much more deserving and Reese was stat padding to inflate her numbers as her team was consistently losing. I resent being subjected to gaslighting by the league, veterans, and the media. So, thank you.

Throw out the first 8 or 9 games of the season. The Fever lost for 3 reasons. 1. The s schedule was brutal, 2. The team wasn't physically fit enough to play the high pace CC style. 3. CC's teammates were working against her, to a big extent and would not pass back to her. Once her teammates started to buy in to her pace and style of play, the Fever took off.

Caitlin Clark's fans are both black and white, and are some of the most knowledgeable former and current NBA players and some of the most knowledgeable podcasters around. They know that they are seeing a generational player and are basing their assessment on talent, not skin color.

I find it interesting that the women in the league are jealous and tear her down instead of being happy to see a player drawing eyes to their game. Both black and white women don't like her. They are jealous. It’s interesting that her greatest support are black men. They recognize her for her skill. The administration of the W and the players have made fools of themselves and the league. A bunch of toxic jealous women. It is no wonder the league has not made a profit in 27 years. People don't care about women, like you. Clark should go to Europe. It can't be fun to play against these fools. Maybe a sports psychologist can figure all this out. But it boils down to women not liking to see other women succeed.

Many of CC's 'turnovers' were due to teammates that needed to catch up and adjust to her passing skills. I think she literally played AB into better shape. Mitchell had been always waiting for the next pass. I think it took some time to recover from injury and some time to realize the Fever had a new point guard. Wheeler knew it, respected it.

"Congrats to Caitlin Clark. Congrats to us fans who stuck by her ... Caitlin, we're just getting started!"
Okay, I watched the whole thing. That's how it ended, and I enjoyed the whole thing. Thanks, Raquel! This is the best video I've seen addressing the fact that most of the hatred directed toward Clark the entire season was racially based. It's a sensitive subject, so people are reluctant to be honest about it and state the facts.
Caitlin is a much better person than her detractors. She's remained above it all, refusing to acknowledge and deal with their pettiness and jealousy, leaving them gnashing their teeth.
It never stops, though. First it was a "rivalry" with Angel that never really existed. Now that that's been blown out of the water, they're saying Breanna Stewart has to be considered better than Clark because she has four rings for college -- although Stewie played on a stacked UConn team, and during her college career she played with 12 different teammates (including Napheesa Collier) who were first-round draft picks, while Caitlin played with only one teammate who was drafted at all, Kate Martin, 18th in the second round -- while Caitlin played for a school that hadn't been to the Final Four for 30 years, and she pulled the Hawkeyes to two consecutive national championship games. Although Caitlin played her heart out -- twice -- against the best teams in the nation, beating South Carolina, UConn, and LSU along the way, she couldn't drag them through the last 20 minutes of the season to a championship. Carrying a team on your back is hard work!
Now her haters are saying Sabrina Ionescu (who's having a great series in the finals and sank a killer game-winner 3 in the third game) should have been picked for the All-WNBA first team instead of Caitlin -- although Caitlin beat Sabrina in EVERY SINGLE CATEGORY in the stats. (Actually Sabrina, who really is an excellent player, should have been on the first team instead of Alyssa Thomas.)
It takes a big person to admit they've been wrong, and Caitlin's haters are small, petty people: I haven't seen one who has been willing to step back and say they were wrong, and give Caitlin the credit she deserves.
Thanks again, Raquel! Another great video! Keep doing what you're doing!

It is good that Caitlin arrived first, and excelled at absolutely everything the way she did, because it will help the other young women coming up as well.

Great video. Great courage on your part and great courage on the part of all the black podcasters that I love and follow. It must be difficult to tell it like it like it really is and not how the black community wants it to be. Your respect for the game and your respect for yourself is admirable.

Yessssssssss, finally,i like your message on Caitlin Clark, the truth, they focused soooo much on hating, its shameful and what kills me Caitlin never spoke negative about anyone. I like speaking the truth... Caitlin has skills and she tries to help all wnba players and still they hate, they need to apologize, all she wants to do is play ball 🏀

An amazing video! Your articulation is factual, honest, and you exemplify the same character. I agree with what was said in a previous comment "if Caitlin Clark was black, I would love her the exact same"

I loved the video except for one thing it's not Caitlin Clark's fans that are the problem it's the haters who pose as fans, they're trolls. Caitlin Clark's fans are amazing And their knowledge of basketball is way above the average WNBA fan because seriously if you've been a fan of the WNBA For a long time I feel for you because there really hasn't been much to watch

Your analysis was well versed and spot on from top to bottom. 👍 Tribalism is a tough thing to overcome. Bringing it out in the open and exposing its ugliness is a good thing.

You are so right about the haters out there. CC is the truth and will continue to be a force in the WNBA. It's hilarious how the same folks that talked about her; all of a sudden, they want her in that league. CC is about class, dignity and humbleness not petty hating & jealousy. Great content!

Thank you for summing up exactly what has gone on this past season. The others know CC is going to get even better and they’re scared. No one has really challenged them the way she has and will. It must be difficult to be outclassed at every turn. I look forward to what’s coming. Just as I look forward to her golf tournament with Annika Sorenstram for the LPGA Pro-Am on Nov 12.

    Brilliantly articulated!! “WNBA, be better”!
Oh and Geno, was completely off on two occasions; first not signing her at UConn and then, the terrible assessment on her WNBA readiness to compete with the “top women’s BB players in the world”.
She was better prepared athletically and mentally…
    💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼

Very well said. I didn't understand why everyone one hated CC because she was white, I started watching because everyone was talking about her and stayed because she was exciting to watch. I haven't watched any basketball since Jorden played his last game and I can't remember if there was any race brought in to his games, I watched because he also made the game exciting.
