Hello Josh! I was an owner-op for many years. For the last five years till 1988, I was with Cougar Fright Systems. I'm very happy for you having finally gotten your dream truck....... Nothing beats a W900! My ex-wife turned me on to watch your vlog. Years ago she and I ran a team. coast to coast with CP Express. Congratulation and good luck with your W9, It's a beautiful tractor and I know your going to rig it up and win a lot of truck shows. God bless you and keep you safe

I'm always impressed by your ability to remain calm when presented with these, erm, challenging loads. I'd be getting very hot and might even make a complaint to whoever is standing closest to me. Maybe it's something you gain after 10+ years on the road, I'm not there yet. That load would piss me right off.

Josh, before I retired, I had 44 years in heavy-duty trucking, most of it in maintenance. Keep your services right on time, (or even before,) and use quality oil & filters, and any other components you need to replace, and you'll go a long way towards your goals. I had company lease & rental trucks (most with Cummins,) that went a full million before having to touch the motors. Also, fix the "small stuff" before they turn into "big expensive" stuff!!!

I'm so glad you're having a great experience with Ol' Blue. You did make a good choice in trucks and you're so deserving of it as well. You did a super fine job of securing and tarping that complicated load. Safe travels with Lord Diesel onboard riding shotgun.

another top video josh, top job mate,on the fines they are crazy here in australia too, each spelling mistake in the paper logbook costs $700 (we still run paper logbooks here) the government here has been trying to get all trucks off the road and send freight by rail b ut what they don,t realise there are so many places here not accessable to the rail and when the train gets to the other end it has to go on a truck anyway

Wouldn't a "Roll Tight" be a more efficient way to handle this load (If one available.)? While it wouldn't have negated the need to TIE DOWN all the LOOSE components, TARPING wouldn't have been that much an issue as you had.
Sure wish we had some RAIN here in TEXAS, we NEED RAIN BAD. You can KEEP the SNOW, if you'd sent TEXAS and SOUTHERN USA some rain it would be MUCH APPRECIATED. Cheers from Deer Park, Tx. 🙂

We've been kinda in a drought here in Tennesse. No rain for at least another week or two. It's been hotter than normal for this time of year. Was 95-98 degrees all week and the heat index said it "felt like 110". It for sure did. Was so humid you could see the water droplets in the air. Next week is gonna be even worse with the actual temperature being 101-102 and I don't even wanna know what the "feels like" is gonna be.

Over engineering is the exactly term that you could use. Everything is going over on the last time… over expensive, over engineering, over political, over green… Living is like a endless spin, when we hit the top we’ll discover that 90% of the process is irrelevant, like the load that u need to warp. That all fill out brains and empty our wallets. Trucks are made to trucking and not to be driven by suit guys. We need horsepower, big sleeper, chrome and good diesel prices, all the other things are just “things” and could be leaved for office guys.
Soon I’ll be living in Winterpeg and hope to know you Josh, your videos are a helper to me on my life goals! Keep trucking and hammer down!

My opinion is CAT made the best diesel motor and unfortunately the emissions got so ridiculous that they opted out of making any more road motors. I really dislike the new motors. I’d say you have the second best diesel built. It’s also old enough so as you don’t have to play the DEF game. Old Blue is truly a beautiful tractor and something to be very proud of owning and drive every day. May she bring you and your family many years of reliable, profitable and enjoyable service. 👍😎👍
