This is very cheap too, Living on a Self built farm I have plenty of cattle wire, chicken wire and much more. I have many 10-12 ft peice of tin roofing so thats nice too, I have around 10 dozen pallets so thats very easy wood for the flooring and To make it a bit more stable too, Thanks for the AWESOME build

Yes. Actually we are going to put a plastic sheet with angulation for drainage. But any drainage idea is valid

Yes an awesome inch but it can be customized depending what you need

Goes through the cracks to the floor. We then scoop it up daily

Cheers for this, been searching for "create your own dog house" for a while now, and I think this has helped. Ever heard of - Ganyan Canicholas Formula - (Have a quick look on google cant remember the place now ) ? Ive heard some awesome things about it and my colleague got great success with it.
SSSSSSSSSS... ouch bro... I've ran my own dog care business for about 10 yrs now... HALF of my crazy clients would just destroy that 3 pin side in like 15mins. If u had pitbulls? I've worked at places where I've seen pitbulls dig thru concrete. Pine wood is 3 steps above marshmallow in terms of hardness. Seriously, not saying this to troll, jst so you know, I've housed a 29lbs whippet, who destroyed EVERY crate you ever put her in. Steel, Plastic, Kennels(pro and Non-pro) she destroyed it all. She broke concrete before digging out the wire fence at a professional kennel. thats why the owners sought me out a sitter that would keep her OUT of a box. CRAZY RIGHT? .... 29lbs Whippet, crazier than any Rottweiler i ever met. and I work with aggressive dogs, pitts, Dobies, cockers... this kennel wont hold any terrier, or any dog that wants out. im sorry to be be mean, but THE DOGS WILL INJURE THEIR TOES ON THOSE SLATS. I can design a perfect kennel, I've alrdy helped a few professionals to design perfect kennels. It is possible, BUT wood slats and cheap home depot screws is not the way. im sure this kennel is destroyed by now LOL... i hope your dogs don't break their toes on the slats, and that they won't break out.. I trully do!.. My clients are my dogs too. i love them as my own.. CHEERS!
