@sebastianjwalker NO! im nto a sound engineer for movies. I didnt really explain. Im a 13 year old kid who makes home videos and posts em every week. but i still know that bass gives a humongously awesome effect. plus 808's are very important in modern pop music. so if alot of speakers cant play em, then obviously speakers suck! and i know for sure they dont. DURSH!

@dgobrien Because bass drops are really low frequency. Low frequency speakers are expensive to make, hence the expensive price.

My volume is sensitive when i turn it up or down so when it wasnt playing i turned it up to much and BOOOOOOOM!!! semi heart attack

I think you may be the one with a mental affliction. Speakers produce the sound from electric waves. Bass is a larger heavier and denser wave, speakers play it, but subwoofers amplify it. You should learn your facts.
@StreakingataFuneral mine can, i got 2 15's and 2 12's....this is weak. with super low frequencies you can watch my 15's slowly move, but this doesnt do much at all

It is referred to as the 808 because it comes from the Roland TR 808 Rhythm Composer which is a drum machine that was produced from 1980 to 1984.
