THANK YOU! This was the demo video I needed.

Best intro on UA-cam.
Thx for detailed explanation.
Oh man, now i love the game even more.... Rogues are really powerful. Im using Sebille and she have some insane crits from backstab.
Thank you!
In the first divinity gorilla was the real thing boy man that was pertinent for every Rogue in this game knots at all
thank you dude
Holy shit good content bro!
Thanks!
tnx dude
Is there a way to toggle the sight lines? I have mine bound to shift, but I need to keep it pressed so it's less convenient.
Thanks
I'm two years late to this video but can guerilla work with 2-handed or one handed str weapons ?
Have you considered using a full stealth party? Like a stealth variant of each role (tank, mage, etc.) Maybe a rogue, shadowblade, ranger, and a shadow knight? I have been thinking of trying it out.

Just put points into sneaking ability and everyone can sneak into a fight. Guerilla perk on everyone to do extra dmg from stealth.
Initiate with one character and others will be out of combat so you can sneak up to the enemy with others for that initial bonus from guerilla.
Guerilla doest work with chameleon cloak (invisibility).
I'm beddy beddy sneaky

Once you get the assasinate skill with a ranger, remove the guerilla talent because they don't stack!
Hi, I still don't understand one thing. If other companions are in battle can you still sneak with your rogue while they are battling and can you enter sneak while in battle?
Yes as long as you don't get caught. If you have someone who can teleport you can throw your companion out of the fight to heal and use stealth to return and get a hit in.
When I tried to do that, the cursor automatically changed to Theft. How can i do the sneak attack? If I just click attack, it just does the normal back stab with no Guerrilla bonus. Please help
Does a two-handed Finesse weapon deal more backstab damage than a dual wield attack?
With the full party stealth, the sight cones are based off of what character? The character with the highest sneaking ability? The lowest?
The sight cones are based on each independent character's sneaking ability. However, you will only be able to see the sight cones as they are for the character you currently have selected.
your sneaking was showing as 1... mine is one and my light red is not even close to that large.... what gives?
1 thing I just don't understand, by choosing to have 1 character attack from stealth, every other character has to go at the end of the turn queue, unless you can manage to get your other characters revealed at the same time that you're revealed which is just tedious and unpredictable. So the only other option is to stealth with every character, in which case they still end up at the end of the queue but at least they get 1 attack in each. Against a large enemy team it feels like stealth is too underpowered because you're better off initiating normally and getting your moves in sooner. Unless I'm missing something here....?
Starting with rogue will cause an issue though. Sneak to your target first start combat with party then backstab with rogue will give you the actual benefits
If you attack with your rogue then the fight will freeze on his or her turn. Only then you should advance with the rest of the party. If they dont get caught you should have at least the first action for each one.
How is that suppose to be effective? Yes, you can get more damage but the rest of your heroes are way out of attack range and all the enemies will target the assassin... I dont understand, what am I missing?

Guerilla bonus adds 40% more dmg from stealth. With something like ballistic shot it can one shot an enemy.
Also if you start combat, person sneaking still isnt in the combat. Can be very useful sometimes.
Whoever designed the stealth mechanics and traits for DOS2 should never work in the games industry again. Guerilla is pointless, glass cannon is far too handicapping with the surfaces mechanics, stealth is a joke at 4ap cost in battle and NEVER works due to how battle works.
The only time I have had any luck making a stealth build work is with the lone wolf perk (no Pawn >< again poor design Larian) and a mod that makes stealthing cost 2ap. Even then it only works maybe 1% of the time in 5% of the fights because of how every is positioned.
So you need 6-8ap or 2 turns just to travel to the target, set up stealth and hope to hell no one moves at all to give you away. Really poorly done class imo.
youre obviously new, later on such problems become when youre experienced. plan your battles. if u get caught then u deserve to waste all your AP
Its pretty obvious stealth wasnt really even ment as a build(or class). Its just more of a utility which gives a character a single free hit before battle and allows you to set up your party before a fight or avoid some fight.
Stealth is tactical skill not combat skill. You don't use it in fights, you use it to set up for a fight beforehand to get the best advantage and get a free kill at the beginning. With a proper set up you are able to kill one the enemy, relocate and severly wound another one (maybe even get another kill if you're lucky with criticals) on the first turn with just one character, all while having your mages and/or rangers safely perched on the high ground.
On higher difficulty levels this advantage is really crucial. Never walk into fights unprepared.
There are some few useless systems in this game I've found so far. This one takes the first place.
No they're not. Depends on your playstyle. I play Lone Wolf with 2 characters and I often use this mechanic when facing against a group of at least 4 enemies or an enemy that is higher level. It allows me to quickly dispatch of at least one enemy of the same level or severly wound higer level one on the first turn and with just one party member before any other character make their move.
You need to learn how to pronounce "th" correctly, it's not a hard T sound, it doesn't take much effort.
English obviously isn't his first language and you can watch or not watch these videos for free, so
3:26 skills do work with guerilla, you just need to use one that says "does not break invisibility or sneaking"
