I run the ports up here in Tacoma/Seattle. This is the longshore creating slow downs basically. They could move traffic better, but I have seen and been told first hand they really dont care. They go to break early, come back late. Alot of times they could clear a line out so trucks are sitting at the out gate, instead they set the can down and leave... even if your the only truck there, they will go to lunch and make you wait over an hour. It sucks, nothing we can do about it. If the pay wasnt so great up here, I wouldnt be dealing with it. I will say Tacoma Longshoreman alot of them are pretty awesome to work with, but Seattle Longshore can go to hell!
