Thinking that in a prior life, you were either a Plane Captain, or an instructor of Ground Procedures. Either way, you sure have a knack for passing along some truly priceless information. Thanks!
Thanks again for your feedback. Yes, I have a deep interest and passion for detail. I'm so pleased you like my work. I have many more videos planned on some great British aircraft, so please keep watching!
This was very interesting, my Father was an Electrician in the RAF during WWII and was attached to 81 Sqn in 1942 to take part in Operation Torch. At this time 81 Sqn was equipped with the Sptifire Vc, so he would have been working with everything you are describing in this video. They would later upgrade to Spitfire IX but I know he spent a long time with Spitfire Vs. Thank you for posting!
This series is an absolute Classic. Thank you so very very very much for the difficult work you have done to produce this. A Classic!!!
Thank you. You're very welcome!

Beautiful work. Not well suited for YT, but gives so much pleasure watching. Perhaps YT needs more of that detailed materials...
Thank you very much!
Outstanding video! Thanks for doing this.
You are very welcome
wow its like having a Haynes Manual for the Spitfire :)
It sure is!
Perhaps in a future video you can detail the operation of the Beam Control Unit. I assume this is some sort of radio navigation or landing system?
Thanks for your feedback. Yes, I will be covering the Beam Approach Lorenz Landing system in more detail in one of my future Avro Lancaster videos
