Hello Robert Vernocy The only dimensions that I can provide are: The trigger housing dimensions= 13x30x65mm, wall thickness: 2mm Trigger and Sear= 5mm thick. All made from 316 grade stainless steel Some of my channel viewers told me that is possible to take "screen shots" from some of my videos and then using scale to get the right sizes. Watch the video "Roller Speargun Design Model" ua-cam.com/video/_qQXGEgw5p8/v-deo.html at 1:03 is possible to see a side view of the trigger mach. Thanks for watching!

Hi SIR, CAN YOU MAKE A SEPARATE VIDEO FOR TRIGGER MECHANISM WITH LINE RELEASE ,,, ALSO DIMENSIONS OR DIAGRAM IN DETAIL MEASUREMENTS TO EDUCATE THE PEOPLE ALL OVER THE WORLD. I HOPE YOU WILL DO THE PROJECT SOON AND WE LOVE TO WATCH YOUR WAY OF COMMENTARY THANKS. .
Hello Rising World, in this world every thing is possible, but for now a new trigger design with a line release is not my priority. This idea of me making a complete homemade speargun and document it in video is taking me far more time and energy that I ever imagined. Unfortunately for now this project is on standby, so just bear with me! Thanks for the comment ans for watching my videos.
+flavio farias Hello flavio farias, some of my viewers have told me that is possible to take screen shots from my videos, and scaling the images to get the right sizes for the parts!

Hello justin Ambrose, I tried it before, and it made the steel very brittle, one of the hooks at the ends broke off, and the heat made the spring uncoil almost one full turn ! using pre-heated steel, and if is to be used in water it should be stailless steel, is the best way to do it! Read this comment from colin burrows, it explains how to make stronger springs! -if using a variable speed drill when you coil your spring try to hold the mandril at an angle so the wire you are coiling is slightly pressed against the previous formed coil, this will give you better tension in your spring just make sure you pull hard to keep the wire in tension but try not to let the wire over ride the previous coil. yours the spring maker...
Good night Dear friend; I live in BRAZIL my english is very bad but I would like to congratulate you for your work; Your project was the best I found on the internet; I wrote on your page I would love your favor if possible and of course; And I am unable to work at all for health reasons, but I have some friends who are helping me here; I would like the following if you do not mind; If you have the entire project with the actual measurements of your great project. Thanks in advance, big hug.
Hello Mr. Osman, I designed the trigger mechanism and the speargun with a CAD program. I need to field test it for a long time to guarantee that is safe to use, at the moment the only dimensions that i can provide are from the trigger housing outside dimentions= 65x30x13mm the walls are 2mm thick and the sear and trigger are 5mm thick, i used 316 grade stainless steel. Hey here's a challenge, I wanna see if you can make a Seatec Snake sling gun release system by Valerio Grassi Diy with a stainless cage instead of scrambled in the gun .
+Dzdoctors.com Hello Dzdoctors.com , sorry but i can´t send you the prints, because I have to finish making the spearguns first and then test it for some time, to know if any changes are needed and that is safe to use it. Some of my viewers have told me that is possible to take screen shots from my video named " New Speargun Trigger Design With Safety Knob" and using scale to get the sizes needed. Thanks for watching!
@@MrMyvids4you these are the pure thoughts... I am from india. I want try at home so please sir you give the dimension of trigger. You give the size of bit you are used for drill. At what point you drilles it? Please give the dimension of that. Remaining one thing i want say that, your final finishing is top level..... I become biggest fan of yours..
Hello! thank you for your passionate fun exciting videos. I am wondering if you can make your cad models available so I can download and use the same template?

Hi there i like the way you work.can you make video that shows the size of the trigger parts in details!?If yes will be trait ill try to do the same.thank you from japan where blue tuna lives haha, good work man
I´m working on a new design that will improve this trigger performance, it will have a shorter trigger pull, new Sear stop and a safety knob. This is a project under development and needs to be field tested first before being available. The only dimensions that i can provide are the outside dimensions from the housing: 65 x 30 x 13mm, the walls are 2mm thick. Good luck with your project, and catch many tuna fish. I love tuna! even if is from a can! Thanks for the comment!

Hello! This video helps me out so much! What kind a drill press do you use? Is the table on the press stock? It looks like it makes things a lot easier!

Thanks for the comment and for watching my videos.

Hello Rising World,
in this world every thing is possible, but for now a new trigger design with a line release is not my priority. This idea of me making a complete homemade speargun and document it in video is taking me far more time and energy that I ever imagined. Unfortunately for now this project is on standby, so just bear with me!

Heating up the coil to white hot then rapid cooling it might make it have more snap back
Oil not water used motor oil is perfect
Hello justin Ambrose,
I tried it before, and it made the steel very brittle, one of the hooks at the ends broke off, and the heat made the spring uncoil almost one full turn !
using pre-heated steel, and if is to be used in water it should be stailless steel, is the best way to do it!

I can give you some dimensions for it.
- The trigger housing dimensions= 13x30x65mm, wall thickness: 2mm
Trigger and Sear= 5mm thick. All made from 316 grade stainless steel
Some of my channel viewers told me, that by using any free screen recorder program to take "screen shots" from some of my videos, and then using a image editing program
like "PAINT" to scale the images to get the right sizes. Watch the video

Overall dimensions of the spearguns.
The roller speargun:
1200mm long (end to end)
950mm from the centre of the rollers to the edge of the trigger pocket
50mm wide
---------
Traditional speargun,
1200m long
950mm from the edge of the rubber bands hole to the trigger pocket
50mm wide from the but plate to the end of the trigger pocket and tapering down to 40mm at the tip (muzzle)
I used Okoume Marine Plywood laminated together with epoxy, but a much better choice will be to use Teak Wood.
