I always thought he said "The best boot is the one that fits your foot and fits your knees". No wonder all these boot fitters have been giving me weird looks.
No clearly the best boot is the 4 year old model on clearance that matches your Dope Snow jacket and it might be 4 sizes wrong in either direction but you'll make it work. JEEZ! Get it right!
Looks like the harness is in the boot and not the liner. That's a big plus to for heal lift, since it's locking the liner to the shell. Very nice boots. I not a huge fan of their boards but I own 2 pairs of Astros and I'm really liking the boots!
After riding Gnu for over a decade, I'm trying a Goaliath and have their bindings on the way. I need new everything so I'm thinking fuck it, go full Bataleon andi might get these boots. Heel lift is what ruins my riding these days.
I prefer the burrito liners myself, it just sucks that I cant seem to find boots near me with that style. I hate ordering from the net for shoes and such, too hard to tell if it will fit. Cool to hear these are another option, thanks for the breakdown!
just got these. mid/upper foot area is pretty wide. they fit very nice and tight around the shins. Amazing if you have chicken legs like me. the burrito wrap is better than the one ride uses(fuse boot) i had to add extra velcro to get the ride one to fit snug. they fit pretty true to size. they feel responsive will update after i get them on snow.
There is no snowboard shop in my country. I wish I could try many boots. Often have the issue with the toe box not being wide enough or too much pressure on the top of the foot (cuneiform bones).
Liner looks 100% like Nidecker Kita and the shell like 80% Kita (no vibram?). Kinda cool. So you can get a Bataleon board with very good Rome clone bindings and decent Nidecker clone boots.Things are looking good for Bataleons future
Maybe you should post some footage of you wearing the boots and struttin’ around so we know you actually looked at these boots and do indeed have feet. Couple of turns, maybe some stairs. Just general walking footage for the viewers.
Can’t wait to wear these as my daily casuals

The best boot is last years model you bought blind for 40% off in the same size as your street sneakers.

Awesome work. Bataleon boots line Looks pretty solid. Will there be a breakdown for Salsa as well?
Would be lovely to get a video comparing traditional vs burrito wrap liners (eg. intuition liners offer both).
Will be upgrading to these next season because I am a Bataleon fan boy and I love the color. However, my boots have at least one more season in them.
Nice to see that they use laces for the boa and not cable

From what I've heard they were designed by person behind some Burton boots.
I think tribute boardshop mentioned someone from burton works for nidecker, probably the same person
I hope a shop close will csrry those to try
who's the designer that they hired from burton?
Growing the lettuce out eh avran?
Need more shops to stock wide boots :(
Problem is no one in my city carries Bataleon boots and online buying is a huge risk
Two options then. Move or don’t buy them.
Super duper cool
hows the footprint?
Fine.
@@AngrySnowboarder same as burtons?
