    Thanks guys! Was excited to see this video! Constructive criticism here- to me, the audio was horrible! Not hating, but I had to rewind several times to catch what you said.. maybe it's just me, but throwing it out there. Thanks and keep up the good work!

    Would love to see q video on phases of season. Kind of like what Newberg does with elk. I'm sure they are for the most part alike but with rut for dear happening later in the year vs elk. Thanks for y'all putting these videos from gear list to candid videos. Thanks again!

      @@GOHUNT I am so tech challenged I don’t really know much . I finally broke down and tried BaseMap it was nice TILL they updated their app and deleted ALL my maps in 4states yes ALL with no warning or sorry we deleted your maps and way points. The only thing I did like on their new app was the compass bearing with distance reading.That was very awesome but not worth my maps so being a man of honor I did not resubscribe to them. I went with onx who gives a 50% military discount love that . Just make sure y’all save folks maps no matter what and maybe incorporate that compass feature on the new BaseMap. I do like that 👍🏻

    Tutorial was very good but the audio kept cutting out and sounded muffled at times. Love this mapping tool and still learning all the features. How do you take the map from the computer to the cell phone especially when there is no service?

    • @GOHUNT
      @GOHUNT  3 роки тому +1

      Hey Ralph. Thanks for reaching out. We will look into some solutions for that. We kinda came up with this format at the last second and gave it a go and just let Brady's computer record the video and audio for this. So we are sure there is a better way for us to grab audio. Sorry about that!
      About the computer to the field use, so if you're an INSIDER, you can download either the iPhone version or the Android version. Then log in using your INSIDER account on the mobile app. You will have all of the waypoints transfer to your phone that you created on the web. Next, just make sure you download the maps and layers that you want to take offline when you don't have service. So we suggest doing that at home or at work on some Wifi. Now when you go offline and have no service, you will be able to use your mobile device's built in GPS and you can see all the maps, your waypoints and drop new waypoints while you are hunting. Let us know if you have any other questions.

    Hey Brady great video, I definitely got some good tips from this and have began applying to my e-scouting. I know others have asked for different videos in the comments already and wanted to add one more to your work load. I was wondering if one day you could do a video for sagebrush/open county e-scouting for mule deer. Or even different approaches you would take on e-scouting mountain vs sagebrush/open country mule deer. Thanks again for the video and keep up the good work.

    • @GOHUNT
      @GOHUNT  3 роки тому +4

      Hey John. Thanks for reaching out! You must be in my head as I'm sure you know I absolutely love hunting that type of terrain for mule deer and it definitely takes a different approach. Hopefully one of these days I'll wrap up my mule deer book that I want to publish so I can just spill out everything in one spot. I'll definitely put a video together for this terrain. Best of luck this upcoming season.

    I am a huge fan of yours. Love your mule deer hunts. I never had opportunity like this in my life. That said some would say this isn't that great of a tag. I dis agree.That said my 13 year old daughter drew a 3rd season tag in this unit. I'd love any input.
    I'd honestly love to get her filmed with some one that matters.

    Love these goHunt videos. Thank you for doing these. One suggestion-(don’t take as criticism). You and Trail do not have powerful voices so you really need to be cognizant of that and try not to mumble, because a lot of times you are inaudible when you do. Pretend you’re in front of a live audience (because essentially you are) and being graded on your presentation. Watch a video of yourself and you’ll start to notice when you mumble and you can’t even make out some things you’re saying. Then watch a video of Newberg or a radio host and take note of the way they speak when they’re being recorded and how the listener can understand every word. You’ll get better

    Use a microphone when you do these videos. If I’m at home on my computer where it’s quiet it’s really easy to hear you, but if I’m in the gym on the treadmill, it’s noisy in here and I have headphones. You sound very raspy and mumbling with the volume turned all the way up. Can barely hear you.

    I could really use some additional pointers on some mule deer facts, how weather, snow wind will dictate where mule deer bed for shelter, typical rut activity.. i have a really good spot, ive scouted but having hard time locating mule deer ive seen smaller bucks and does but only big deer have seen at night driving into spot to hike to glass.. jumped them off the road in dark highest elevation 6500 ft

    Very in depth video this is perfect for me because I’m starting to try and figure things out further than most other people are willing to go and to really understand mule deer. I notice that there really seems to be deer everywhere but for clarification, do all the deer move or just parts because I’ve watched videos in November of bucks up in the snow almost above the alpine and then I’ve seen them going down to the lowlands to get out of the weather. Is that just an area thing or will certain bucks stay and others go? I know that’s all over but thanks for the video!
