Francesco Tristano, born on September 16, 1981, in Luxembourg City, is a multifaceted artist who seamlessly blends classical and electronic music into his compositions and performances. Tristano's journey into music began at a young age, leading to his study at conservatories across Luxembourg, Brussels, Riga, and Paris. His education culminated at the prestigious Juilliard School in New York, where he was mentored by notable figures such as Jerome Lowenthal, Bruce Brubaker, and Jacob Lateiner, among others.
Tristano's career is marked by his debut in 2000 with the Russian National Orchestra and his innovative transcriptions and adaptations, notably his original rendition of Antonio Vivaldi's "The Four Seasons" for piano and strings. His dedication to both baroque and contemporary music is evident through his formation of The New Bach Players ensemble, with which he recorded Johann Sebastian Bach's complete cycle of Keyboard Concertos. His recordings also span the Goldberg Variations, French Suites, and collaborations with electronic music artists like Carl Craig and Murcof.

In recent years, Tristano has focused on solo projects with Sony Classical, releasing albums such as "Piano Circle Songs," "Tokyo Stories," and "On Early Music," further exploring the depths of piano music and its contemporary resonances.
