based on my experience of watching literally millions of international couple or family channels with babies/toddlers videos on UA-cam in the past decades, your channel has potential to grow much bigger in terms of views and subscriptions as long as you two keep uploading new videos and good content. good luck and BTW your cutie little boy is gonna be the star of most of your videos. as a matter of fact, it's quite common for those channels with babies/toddlers that their kids often become protagonists in their videos.

@@dr.fillingsdr.feelings8726 well, i am just one of those millions viewers that like to watch international couple vlogs/videos for my own entertainment. I dare not to give much suggestions at all but might give you my 2 cents here since asked.
1, for most couples/families channels, they are in general genuine, fun, positive, good looking and etc
2, they are usually young or should I say not old. nothing against the old people at all but this kind of channels are usually owned by couples/families less than 40.
3, they shouldn't fake things they do in their videos as viewers often want to see how real life it is. in that way the viewers may find your videos fun to watch or sometimes even resonate with things you do.
4, just be yourself, sometimes things can be bad but that's ok. the viewers will understand and be on your side.
5, you 2 are Dr, it may also be fun if you talk about your works too.
6, here comes one of the most important criteria for family channels is your babies, toddlers and kids. it is absolutely true that babies/toddlers/kids are always the main attractions for the viewers. many viewers often come back to watch is because of your little children. they are almost always the main protagonists. in your case, congrats, you 2 have a beautiful new born baby and he will be the star. if not mistaken, his name is Charlie.
at any rate, there are no actual rules, restrictions and/or anything for holding a successful family channel on UA-cam, you just have to keep improvising while building it. be yourselves, have fun and do whatever you want with your channel as it it yours after all. the viewers will come as long as they find the content of your channel are fun to watch. it will take time but it will happen if you insist.
