It is a Marxism ideology that countries and nations will disappear. However this has been(likely intentionally) misinterpreted in China to make people believe Marx's theory is just an re-invention of the ancient Chinese ideology "Great Unity". That being said I do agree that through assimilation and wars eventually(may be in 1000 years) there will be only one race left on earth, the humans.
Confucius envisioned a golden age over a two millennia ago: "And then men would care for all elders as if they were their own parents, love all children as if they were their own children. The aged would grow old and die in security; the youthful would have opportunities to contribute and prosper; and children would grow up under the guidance and protection of all. Widows, orphans, the disabled, the diseased - everyone will be cared for and loved."

This channel is fantastic. As an American, it's difficult to engage with the Chinese people. The language barrier and distance make it incredibly difficult. In the interest of bettering relations between two different peoples, it's vital that we can see each other and hear each other. Obviously the US and China have many disagreements, but we also agree with quite a bit. I've walked away from this video with a more positive outlook on the Chinese people.
Hi, just saw your comment 3 years later. I am not sure where you live, but if you are indeed interested, you should be able to find quite some Chinese students in the largest few universities in almost every state. And no doubt they all speak decent enough English. And I will be more than happy to make friends with people who are interested in China, too.
All creatures seek advantages and avoid disadvantages, or they will be eliminated. Everyone, every group and every country is considering their own interests. But who can benefit the world better when they can benefit themselves??? Who affects the fair development of other countries when they can benefit themselves??? (this fairness is not the starting point of their own interests). Each person, group and country has different judgments on value, which affects their views on "fairness".This is the root of every conflict

“The hardest part is to convince the Chinese system also works” that’s what many overseas Chinese have seen for the past 30 years and promoting. Not necessary means others should copy hell no, but to acknowledge and learn! Especially in the US right now!
China does something very quiet They don't like to talk much But show their actions and results. China Korea Japan are most incredibly people and smartest people, sooner these nations would become the head of the world.
We Chinese know that China is influential because of the amount of population and the gross economy, but still has a long way to go. Our country wants people to live happily and believes that all the people from different nations belong to a community of shared destiny.
I am an American watching your channel and I must say that I thoroughly enjoy hearing the different points of view that you present. i think your topics are well thought out and presented a fair and easy to understand manner. Woah... I should start reading the newspaper. These people know so much about what's happening in their country and here I am with BTS newest single in my head 😂😂😂😂 Man, I'm ashamed of myself.
I hope everyone understands the babble of politicians does not reflect all citizens' views. I'd much rather live in China than the US; it's safer, higher quality of life, and less crazy. Not all Americans are anti-China! I'm not! I'd defect if I could!
As an American, I think we embrace the idea of LEGAL immigration as a good thing. Most of us are against ILLEGAL immigration; we want the law to be followed if you intend to live and work here.
Same, it seems we only see the idea of letting in illegals into the states which would only screw over the system and the immigrants themselves when politicians could be working on making legal immigration easier which would help everybody.
The American Dream is about how poor immigrants to America can hopefully strike it rich one day, and move up the social ladder to a higher rung. That's why they allow virtually any immigrant into the country. The Chinese Dream is the eventual rejuvenation of our nation, and for that, China needs what's called "human capital", such as scientists, researchers, businessmen, entrepreneurs, and people who actually contribute back to China. That's why our immigration laws tend to be stricter.
More like China is the most racist county on gods green earth. and just claim cultural ignorance anytime the subject comes up but that society is the most homogeneous society in the world and thats why super power status will never be achieved, there is no conflicting view points allowing room for innovation. Right now our European brothers and sisters are willing to test out this view point only because they dont know any better but once they start stealing enough of there intellectual property that one belt one road crap is going out the window. China is just thieving peoples ideas without wanting to assimilate them into they're society and that's the bottom line.
I wonder how much of this holds up now. This was a great video, i really enjoyed hearing what they all had to say especially the man that mentions “cosmopolitanism”. What a dream that could be.

I love how Asian Boss interviewed people who can't even speak proper Mandarin. Really show diversity of opinions.
He's definitely not a local from Shanghai. From the looks, he seems to be from more rural areas. There's a lot of people from Anhui who come to Shanghai looking for jobs.
pieluverftw he actually speaks in Shanghainese, Wu language, which is quite difficult for people from other province to learn, unless they are from Jiangsu or Zhejiang province.
You are definitely not from Shanghai

What the young guy said about how Trump's 'America First' is wrong because America is made of immigrants and it's a loss of potential talent is pretty great. Also the guy that said the idea of country should disappear. I'd be very interested to have some sort of discussion/ interview with them.

But who can benefit the world better when they can benefit themselves??? Who affects the fair development of other countries when they can benefit themselves??? As an American, I think we embrace the idea of LEGAL immigration as a good thing. Most of us are against ILLEGAL immigration; we want the law to be followed if you intend to live and work here.
sure, im all for legal immigration as well. I just think it should be much easier to legally immigrate to the US
Same, it seems we only see the idea of letting in illegals into the states which would only screw over the system and the immigrants themselves when politicians could be working on making legal immigration easier which would help everybody.
