How do the people parked beside the 1007 get into their car?
The other Peugeot had sliding rear doors and the guy is like "wish i had sliding doors" (facepalm)

Why did the other car companies not adopt this electric sliding door technology?
Because like the automatic seatbelts and pop up headlights they eventually start to wear out and fail plus they can be much more expensive then just the common manual swinging door. Though like the beforementioned things they are still some rather neat features.
Oh and also safety since they're not really meant to be opened by hand unless they are broken and even then it's not easy as you're basically moving it's motor forcefully as well.

They're brilliant. I've been living in mine for three days outside a hospital. Crazy option for seating and a ridiculous amount of compartments. I've found eight so far.

The 807 have sliding doors in the back so you can use them the same way
so you're going to climb out through the back doors ?
The doors open electrically unless there is a fault, then they can be opened by hand.

Cancer electronics, especially the doors.
My mom owns one. Peugeot "owns" her. Can't spend more than 2 months without a malfunction on those wretched doors.
Besides that, is a nice car.

yes, you can manually, in fact some versions have not any electronic doors, for cheap buyers

Should have known it was on a trailer as the doors cant be opened while driving. You can however open them first then drive but the alarm noise is annoying. Put a heavy bag of shopping on any of the seats and the seatbelts alarm goes off , but other than that its an awesome car and I still get looks everytime I open the doors

I heard that PSA = Peugeot/Citroen may eventually coma to US market. Dunno about Renault. Also, in 2010, you're getting European Ford Fiesta.

NOT GOOD AT ALL. and that because it is DANGEROUS,
to have a Professionsl Driver , demonstrate a Car doing extremely dangerous and Illgeal acts,
and all this in favour of Publicity, increase of viewers, and so Ads, and so Money. Hundreds of thousants of people are getting "killed" each years by Car accidents.
