It's nice that developers have contact with a guy that knows a lot about a game. Hope you will stay around for full a release keep up the good content.
The only thing I'd change is instead of the Terminators, I'd rather run 4 Sprut-SDs. I typically use them as a flanking force and since its 400 credits for 4 tanks, it's usually very cost effective even if they do end up dying.
@@NoiceGuy honestly i think you're overlooking the pros of having 4 separate targets instead of 2, it definitely makes up for each individual sprut not being as tanky or having more firepower
I counter your plane tab with 3x SU-34 w/ 1x KAB1500, 2x SEAD, 2x R77-1, 2x R34+ECM. You get the functionality of basically all roles in one fighter that after the opening air battle you can basically always have one ready as a oh shit option. They also tend to survive well for me due to sead+ecm and they designate for themselves on top of all that.
The 57mm automation isn't make believe, it is on many vehicles currently in the russian arsenal. Along with 23mm autocannons. Russia has been using 23mm 37mm 47mm and 57mm since 1938. It is there most commonly used round is the 23mm and 57mm since 1960
@NoiceGuy have a Question. Why you use so much T15 Barbarias? You can take the B10. That cost less and you can more to bring. The Weapon are equal. The Armor only a little bit less. I think you can 2 B10 for 1 T15 take. that makes the armor not worth.
@@NoiceGuy as others said, both B-15 and T-15 have 57mm guns. B-15 gains bulat HE rockets on top of AT rocket and 57mm while having way weaker armour. But they are also way cheaper at 145 instead of 250.
B,K,T all have their merits (made decks specializing on all 3, made them work quite well), but on average, T(with armor and hp of Armata, and a massively powerful long 57mm gun) is the specialty of the Ru deck, and they're far more forgiving. Also, importantly, T-14/15s are fast as hell(80), so this isn't an advantage for lighter platforms(wheels are faser ofc, but nowhere near as much as you'd expect).
I'm sure this guy has a lot of experience, but I kind of wish he'd actually explain why something is good instead of saying "it's just the best" and "I have hundreds of hours". Like 11:30 with the LMURs. You really can't give any detail?
So LMUR are top attack, long range missles, which the tooltip doesnt even show. They damage and kill any ground units, even sep v3 abrams very reliably. Very fast aim time, shoots on the move, fire and forget, top attack and fast firerate. Its what the javelin wishes it would be. Yeah, the amount of "just feels this way" drags his whole point down sadly. Also the depth missing.
I make a lot of videos and talk to a lot of people I sometimes forget when I do or don't explain certain things. That explanation is more of an attempted shortcut to glassing over most this as "just trust me"
Just because people disagree with you doesn't mean they're wrong by the way, its probably just what worked for them and what they prefer. I like some parts of your deck but not all of it, for example.
Thanks for all the informative coverage! I have two questions. 1) Do you know if the tank/vehicle meta is intentional or is there a chance that inf will be more viable? I think that a lot of the maps/part of the maps would imho be dominated by inf and not tanks irl, so it seems like an intentional design decision to put the focus on vehicles. Also, more survivability on vehicles reduces the micro load a bit. 2) Do you know if the los tool is already working as intended or is it wip? It building up really costs time so I have the impression the players are not supposed to constantly use it. Also, I think it does not display weapon ranges when a unit is selected. What is your take on the los tool? I don't want to argue for or against better inf or a different los tool, game is looking very promising as is with the decisions as they are, but I am very curious :)
1) feel like its cuz of modern battlefield setting. Guided ammo, very precise weaponry and all means the only defense infantry have left is stealth. 2) you can press G to have a sorta range tool for units. The visual stuff works pretty good imo. It even differenciates elevation.
@@TheFlohRiDa Thanks a lot for your input! 1) I actually think because of the modern setting infantry is more important, because tanks have close to none defense, not even stealth (some reduce their heat signature a bit etc.; also, drones and vehicles can have devices to read heat signatures from soldiers, so kind of hardly any one has any stealth, depending on the equipment). And there are already drones in the game. Imho modern conflicts (e.g. Ukraine, Fallujah etc) show, that the boots on the ground are (at least) as important as tanks. That is why I think it is possibly a design decision to focus more on vehicle gameplay. 2) Thanks a lot, I have to try that out! Does that show weapon ranges, too? I only used ALT so far! And it builds up so it takes some time till it can be used.
Nice deck, but S-300 is better in all aspects than buk-m3, more range, more penetration for the same price. also, derivatsiya greatest objective is to destroy helicopters backing up your tanks, so its just better to use Strelas, since they have literally the double range (1100 vs 2200) against helis, being even cheaper, only downside is that it doesnt shoot missiles
I am going to disagree with you there noiceguy i think the s-300v4 with the 2 giant missiles is way better than the buk, in my opinion, you get it for 130 points it has a 9000m range way bigger than the buk with 6400m (and yes it is whit radar) and I find it the early it can shoot early the plane go down hence protecting the things your back and front lines I have seen way too many buk get killed by arty fire and planes whit bombs couse they are to slow to react to them coming whit there really low range the only thing I can fick it is a drawback is they only have 2 missiles but can easily be accommodated to have 2 and ammo depo on them I usually leave them 3000 supplies and it usually lasts the whole game plus you are saving 100 points as well which is very nice. which means with your current deck you can fit a one buk for 180 points in there if you want to if you drop the kamAZ-6560
might because the abrams have higher AP values and a faster reload at every price bracket. Armata and the Sep3s are evenly matched in the combat department the abrams has the better AP round tho while the armata is faster and longer engagement range.
Its a fair take though? He did say he might be wrong of course. But are we really not gonna trust the playtester with hundreds of hours against the devs and other play testers Vs Potato Andy with at most 1 week of gametime On what is actual the good shit in a game. They shoot one at a time terms shoot 2, then shoot another 2 quickly after and have cannons and can take more damage.

I have used and some how refined your "chopper" Dec to my own taste. thanks a lot.
You have the best advice I can find for broken arrow on UA-cam. Thank you!.
nice beginning "im better im Stronger im smarter"
Is there any reason to use the Bumerang module for the extra, more powerful missiles as opposed to the Kinzhal module with the 57mm on the T-15?
the 57mm is 10x better
57 is much more effective against most targets
57mm shreds even sep v3s from behind, which is quite funny in a push xD
i just cannot fuken wait for this game to release, MP is great and ima enjoy it but im so stoked for the hundreds of hours of fun im gonna have in SP

could just use kamazs from transport if needed and it was a more efficient use of points to get those choppers for support
It's there any overlap in EFT and this game? Time to make another secondary channel.
Does the Derivatsiya act as a good gun AA though? I always use a Tunguska instead, especially for those goddamn helicopters
yea its pretty good, it can engage helicopters fairly far without radar and even further with radar on for only 130pts
Imo the derivatsiya is garbage but its cheap and can protect your backline.
