Everyone in England blames Southgate for loosing to Spain. But wat would happen if England would’ve won the euros!!😊

i fully believe given the time Southgate could've done something amazing if he broadened his offensive horizons just a little bit more i think his strategy was to make an offensive team defend until they found an opportunity to attack which was good in ideology but other teams were more well rounded with their team the defenders defended and the attackers attacked that was our problem trying to make attackers to defend while the other attackers (who are arguably more talented) can just focus on attacking if he hired actuall defenders we would've had a better chance cause the attackers could focus on doing their thing(we should've kept him for the olympics tho because now our chances will be considerably lower seeing that the transition will be abrupt

England has been trash before and after 66. How is Southgate to blame?
When Maradonna beat 6 English defenders and unhinged the German defense for Burruchaga which part of the coach was responsible?
When Zidane destroyed Brazil or Kempes destroyed the Dutch.
When Italy won on Penalties or Rossi single handedly dessimated Brazil and Italy .
    Was the coach responsible?
Robson was a great coach but without Gaza England would never have made the Semi Final.
All those World Class Players before the tournament. The same persons who called them World Class was asking for them to be dropped and be replaced by Mainoo Eze Ollie Palmer Toney internationally unproven players.
Always looking for someone to blame.

What are you talking about ('bringing football home')? On the 14th of July 2024 football decided to go home. It's home is Spain (yes that greater part of the Iberian Peninsula you don't occupy). Spain won the Championships 4 (FOUR) times. How many times did England ('the glorious nation') won? Oh yeah ........less than 'smaller nations' like Portugal, The Netherlands, Denmark, Czechslovakia and Greece, i.e 0 (ZERO) times. As a footie-lover I am greatful the english invented the game. But like the language they spread the game. Now, it's played almost everywhere in the world. So, you english don't own the game anymore.Get over it.
I have watched & listed to the english commentaries before & after the final. It seems you have this wonderful distorted view of the reality. It seems there should be only 1 winner: glorious england, and the rest is inconsequential. Sadly, (it's not only england), more & more being patriotic is often confused with nationalistic, or xenophobic or worse racist fervor.
Football's home is each tournament's winner, and Spain is without any doubt the deserved winner for 2024 Championships. Well done Espana for not disappointing real lovers of the game.
