Kpop really makes something to our brain and changes our perception of aesthetics and style, and nobody can deny me that
agreed!! i feel like you can see the impact it has on most kpop fans, we need a deep dive on this!
for guys too (all genders). it's so great and interesting , cuz certain things have trickled out of kpop fandom fashion into mainstream culture, so you can see hints and traces of kfashion in modern western fashion today
@@stealthespotlight_definitely would like to see a video about how to accessorize! i absolutely love you and your channel btw
I would really love to see a W.I.T.C.H inspired look book! I haven’t thought about the comic in ages but I really loved it growing up. Just this one outfit brought back so many memories
INTERACTING WITH THIS TO MAKE IT POSSIBLE!! PLEASE
Yessss I would love to see this
YESSS PLS DO W.I.T.C.H !!!!!
YES YES YESSSS
OMG PLEASE!!!!!
I'm autistic and i really relate to you turning to fashion as a means for expression. I was nonverbal a lot of my childhood and have always struggled with communication and feeling understood. Fashion has always been a nonverbal way of making a statement and showing your personality and feeling seen. Which is what i love about it. The most influential things for me were various kids shows and fairytale silhouettes. I used to watch runway shows a lot growing up. The Rodarte collections from 2008/2009 had a big impact on exploring fashion as an art form and the possibilities and mixing textures. I love whimsical things, bright colouring, and cartoonish shapes. Ms frizzle from the magic school bus def had an impact lol, and josie and the pussycats. Also i don't think it's talked about a lot but the first season of veronica mars also was a big influence for me. The biggest influence and kind of my fashion awakening i would say was the fifth element. It will always live rent free in my mind and influence my choices. Also i'm currently obsessed with the thom browne winter fashion show this year, it's super fantastical
I'm also autistic and this is pretty much the same reason why I love fashion too! Much love
I care for a 9 year old autistic girl, and it’s amazing to see her personal style bloom. I try really hard to just be a trove of information for her about what’s out there and not directly influence her style. She asks me questions about the social history of fashion and my heart jumps with joy to also share one of my interests with her.
We both love cozy and comfy stuff , ( I have a physical disability , so comfy is a yesss ) but she’s really branching out with cool accessories and I even gave her some hand me downs recently . Happy to hear you are enjoying exploring your style . Sometimes I have to remind people that clothes and personal style are incredibly valid … we have laws about wearing clothes , let’s at least have fun we only get one body to cover 😊
I love all of this!! I'm neurodivergent w/ trauma and never really understood it's social significance (fashion) & never really got a chance to explore fashion in childhood
So I'm doing it now!
Wow, thank you for this! I’m also autistic, and I’ve been obsessed with fashion for most of my life. My channel is even fashion-based, and I take a lot of inspiration from Ms. Frizzle as well. You just connected the dots for me as to why nonverbal forms of expression are so important to me!
I feel the same as someone with ASD and adhd!!!! It’s like setting the mood for the day
Bratz really made me loving chunky shoes and different aesthetics. Also, influencers like you really inspired me to be more creative with my outfits and wear more colours and accessoires.
I love W.I.T.C.H. and read the comics so much growing up, would definetly be cool if you did a lookbook on that!
Totally agree!
Yesss another vote for witch!!
Definitely would love to see a how to accessorize! Fran Fine has been an inspiration to me since I first saw her, literally a fashion icon! And honestly, same goes for you! Seeing you wear what you like and styling so many outfits from places I felt were unapproachable, truly a hero!!
Yes! Ai Yazawa is such a big influence for me as well, it’s like I’m in the backseat of my little fashion style car and parakiss and nana are flooring the gas pedal 😭
Fran Fine literally raised me, my father always disliked her and found her snoring but I found the Nanny when I was going through a really tough time, she taught me so much about confidence and style and to this day she lives in my mind rent free, honestly I don’t think I would be the person I am if I never watched the nanny
OMG!!! SAMEEE!!! She is my main fashion inspiration to this day!! And ALSO my father didn't like her nasal voice and laugh!! But I looooveeeddd (still do) her confidence, her creativeness, and she was imo the perfect blend between sexy, sophisticated and elegant!! (Ironic cause back in the day she was considered trashy and bad taste) Also Clueless, Friends and Gossip Girl had a big influence on my style!!
Oh and lately I have been watching The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel and her outfits are EVERYTHING!! I HAVE ALWAYS LOVED the matchy-matchy ensembles from back in the 40's, 50's, 60's, they just give me satisfaction!!
P.S. I know its not a show but Princess Diana's style also influenced me!! A queen! ✨🤩🙌👚👗🧤👕👖👑👸
I think we’re the same person, you literally listed all my favorite shoes and movies!! It was the same with my father and Fran, he always was noted by her Basel voice and Princess Diana is one of my absolute favorite fashion icons to this day!! ❤️❤️
@@Mia-jj2vn Yaayyy!! Fashion twinsies!!! Also I LOVE the Old Hollywood style, especially in Audrey movies like Breakfast at Tiffany's and Funny Face!!🙌✨🤩
@@JustMe-mp6vu Yes!! I love Audrey and old Hollywood fashion!! I also love Grace Kelly in High Society and To Catch a Theif. l also look at 60s mod, 90s supermodels, and classic Parisian style as big inspirations!! ❤✨❤✨
@@Mia-jj2vn are you me?
I love W.I.T.C.H since I was a kid, and their style is super fun! I would love to see how you recreate Hay Lin and Cornelia's looks, they have such a clear perspective in their style
You create such interesting video concepts! One of the biggest fashion moments for me was the discovery of your channel in 2015! Our styles have evolved differently, but you’ve had so much influence on my style. I think it’s more than any other individual person because I started watching you at such a formative age (15!). When I go back and look, a lot of my style elements growing up align with the timeline of experimentation in your videos. so many of your style philosophies and the questions you ask yourself while putting together a look are part of my everyday thoughts.
All this to say that if you ever start a Patreon, I will be the first to sign up :) you’re the only fashion UA-camr I still watch, and I stand by that!!!
Edit: oh my gosh, I apologise to all 71 of you who liked this comment before I edited out the terrible grammar and typos. Pro tip: switch to your country’s keyboard when using someone else’s phone :’))))
the fashion influences for me were bratz and confessions of a teenage drama queen. i couldn't remember anything from that movie as an adult, but when i watched it again, i realized EVERY outfit unlocked some strong memory. honestly they're all iconic, and i think both bratz and teenage drama queen might be why i feel so comfortable wearing different styles for different moods. if you've never seen that movie, please do, the outfits SLAY
Yes yes, a W.I.T.C.H lookbook, please! Especially the thought of you making Hay Lin inspired looks is exciting, in my head she's a style icon~
I was actually surprised when Winx had it's resurgence but there was no sign of W.I.T.C.H, always thought they were both equally popular.
This isn’t really a world moment it’s more of a moment from my life, but as a freshman in high school, the punk scene was pretty popular. There was a girl who had a jacket and I think she cut out t shirt designs and safety pinned them to the back of her jacket so it was like a huge patch. That was a big fashion inspiration moment for me.
3:16 I relate SO much to this. Not only Bratz's style was influential, but all their media and message was about expressing yourself through fashion. The Midnight Dance, Pretty N' Punk, Pampered Pupz and Fashion Pixiez lines are my favs
I would LOVE to see a W.I.T.C.H. video! It was my childhood hyperfixation and I’ve slowly been trying to read the whole series over the last few years.
I'm begging you to do W.I.T.C.H. inspired video! I love this series and I love your style and I feel like that would be just so cute and inspiring! I also feel like so many young women in Poland remember and still love this series so much. I know for sure ALL of my friends do!
aria from PLL, her first season layering still gets me to this day
I would LOVE to see an accessory video! It’s something I’ve been trying to get more into as it’s makes an outfit more your own.. you make it look so effortless I love it! ❤️
Fran Fine is definitely a VIBE I go for, just being extra no matter what I do or where I go and light/dark academia
the way i've been WAITING for a w.i.t.c.h inspired fit from you (you slayed that btw) honestly that comic was everything to me growing up and you have no idea how much i'd love to see an entire video dedicated to it!
The thumbnail is everything i loved as a kid/teen 😭 myscene, nana, witch, the nanny... I loved it all so much
This channel is one of the biggest alterations to my style so thank you so much 😭🫶🏾
I love knowing people's style influences! It's always been really cool to me how you're like a real life Bratz🤩 My influences were XMen animated series, Winx club, freakin CARDCAPTORS big time! Lady Gaga, Aurora, Janelle Monae, & KPop male fashion
I would love a video on how to accessorise! It's definitely where my outfits are lacking
devil wears prada is like a trigger for me. even though it's really not my kind of style, every time i watch it, especially after i watch the scene where meryl streep explains the meaning behind azure blue while styling an outfit for some collection or sth, i get absolutely feral with the desire to dress like a model off duty or like anne hathaway in that movie
a fashion moment that altered my personal style forever was the discovery of this channel thank you for your service 🤝
Witch girls were my style idols growing up! It would be great to see your take on it :)
I would love that too!
You have been such an influence and style icon for me, the way you style clothes and somehow always make everything look so well put together is such an inspiration, I don’t know how you do it. I love your style so much, thank you for your amazing videos
You have honestly influenced me a lot when it comes to having fun with fashion and your channel has really pushed me to think outside of the box so I thank you for that! I've also been inspired by kpop and bratz as they have permanently altered my brain since I was a wee child dkjxnvjk but a fashion icon(s) for me to this day are actually the banks sisters from fresh prince! I watched the show growing up and i've always admired their outfits that i still refer to them when I want to either go casual/going out!!
Big yes for W.I.T.C.H. lookbook!
I would love an accessories video. I only recently got more into fashion and have very few accessories, but I'm starting to realize just how much they pull together an outfit
I've read the W.i.t.c.h. comics as kid, watched sailor moon with my older brother, saw Fran Fine in the Nanny when my mother watched it an loved her outfits , I even had one of these diva starz dolls ... no wonder I love your channel so much!! I think it's time for me to watch Nana 🤔😂❤
Same here. Putting nana on my watchlist
Yes please to a WITCH video!!! I loved those books so much and thought the styling of the characters was amazing. It really influenced my own drawing/character design style at the time :)
wait I loved this video because it made me think about my own style and aesthetic influences and I'm now reflecting about my own relationship with fashion through the years, thank you so much for this
I'll keep commenting this; I never get tired of seeing the Powerpuff girls styled. It just gives so much dopamine.
I think that regadless if people remember witch or not a dedicated lookbook would be a great source of fashion inspo as well as a way to introduce us all to witch fashion and maybe get a new source of inspiration which is always great!!
YESSS!!! I would love loveeeeee a W.I.T.C.H lookbook!!!!!
I LOVED the W.I.T.C.H magazine!! The art is so amazing, please make an inspired outfits video 🥺💕💕
5:25 the way my heart skips a beat seeing the online games for Diva Starz, My Scene and Polly Pocket 😭 they were legit such amazing sites!!!
The outfit at 7:17 is giving strong kakegurui vibes and I love ittt
Omg the W.I.T.C.H. comics were literally my entire existence when I was younger. I remember checking our mailbox everyday waiting for the newest chapters to be delivered. Had a subscription to those comics for years. Had them all stacked in boxes in my room and they were filled to the brim. Also had all the merch like backpacks, t-shits, notebooks, folders, water bottles, duvet covers etc. I would love it if you did a video on their style. Hay Lin was my favorite character and I remember all I wanted was a pair of those glasses she wore on her head all the time. Also started to collect frog plushy as a tween just like Will had lol. This comic really started my passion for drawing and introduced me to manga later on.
The image that lives rent free in my head is Haruhi Fujioka's day off outfit from the episode of Ouran High Host Club where all the guys track down where she lives by showing up at her apartment complex. There is something about seeing Haruhi in an outfit that she choses to wear that's very special. After all the fuss everyone makes over her at school pretending to be a boy, it was nice to see her happy wearing a pink smock dress and styling it in a way that made her happy. Also, who doesn't love a good deal from the Super Market?
Omg yes do a witch lookbook. 😍 I loved the show and the comics as a kid and always loved their outfits so much.
genuinely would love to see a video abt how to accessorize or even like which accessories you think make the biggest difference, i never really buy accessories bc they feel less practical but i know my outfits would be so much more interesting if i had a solid collection
what a great video idea!!
ahh glad you thought so too!!
more looks inspired by "the nanny" and "w.i.t.c.h" please!!!
The high fidelity tv series and The Craft have cemented themselves in my brain for the rest of time
Please please please do a W.I.T.C.H lookbook!!!!! I've been getting back into them lately and this just feels like fate~ ✨
Yes PLEASE, could u do a video on how to accessorize?!!!! I love the way u use accessories to pull a look together and I feel like I could def do with some tips and advice
Fran Fine is the most iconic queen everrrr
OMG YAS I'd LOVE a WITCH inspired look book!! I loved them so much and they definitely served!! 😍😍
Was literally binge watching your older vids when this came out. Low key manifested this video😂
omg would LOVE a vid on accessorizing, I feel like it’s the place I struggle to elevate my look and tie it together a little more :’)
Hearing that you dress to express what you can't with words was so comforting to hear as someone who deals with a similar problem! The whole video was so enjoyable to watch, but that resonated with me a lot! Thank you for saying that :)
Such a creative video idea! Now I'm going to think about my style influences. To answer your questions: yes, please create a W.I.T.C.H. video and an accessorizing video! And wow the Diva Girls dressing game really brought me back. Those were some fun early Internet times.
Omg yes a witch lookbook, i loooved that cómic growing up!
I loved W.I.T.C.H. as a kid!!! I remember in elementary school running up and down school hallways pretending to be Guardians :) I was always Irma! pls do a full lookbook on the girls!!
i'd say the whole entirety of the monster high back around 2012? has influenced me so much, i love their use of gothic clothing and accessories and how they all matched their characters so well even with the monster elements. i remember little me being so SHOOK the moment i saw them and i wanted to be clawdeen SOOO badly (even though the style i like today aligns more with draculaura).
discovering your channel 3 years ago has forever changed my style :))
ahhh omg that makes me so happy 😭😭🫶
I would kill for a w.i.t.c.h. lookbook! I loved the show and the comics and their styles were incredible
Would love to see your take on it!
OMG YES WITCH LOOKBOOK PLEASE!!! It was such a big part of my childhood I NEED to see how you would style each character
4:57 wonyoungs little dance i’m crying that’s so cute
I definitely understand really loving platforms. Recently, my love for them has grown bc a pair I was wearing saved me from having my foot impaled by a nail 👍
trying to thing about the different things that have had the most impact on my personal style and honestly finding your chanel bakc in 2019 is def one of those! ever since I've improved a lot my layering and accesorising game
i totally feel where you get your nostalgic inspirations from. my style in my 20's is pretty much dressing like the person i wanted to be when i was younger. hachi from nana, girls generation and sharpay evans will forever have a chokehold on me.
YESSSSSS JUSTICE FOR TRIPLE H I STILL MISS THEM SO MUCH
yes please to the accessorizing video!❤
The outfits in the WITCH comic are amazing I remember I used to think that
witch lookbook would 100% save my life!!!
Winx club will always and forever inspire me when it comes to fashion, this show introduced me and made me more aware of style and fashion💋💋💋
My love for fashion started this year! My influences that led to me to wear cute outfits basically are: you, katie, and the youtube community, meaning alexa sunshine (who I found because of your channel), and carrie dayton (who I found by watching alexa) My outfits game was non existent before this year lmao
That Dualism top is still one of my favourite pieces you own for sure
Please make a WITCH lookbook, I would love to see your fabulous take on their outfits❤️🥰
would LOVE a video on how to accessorize !
omg I loved W.I.T.C.H. as a tween!! I totally forgot about it until you brought it up. I would love a W.I.T.C.H. inspired look book video
Katie never disappoints!!!!
omg PLEASE do a dedicated lookbook on W.I.T.C.H
No bc ur thumbnails are always such a slay
the fashion citizen! yesss I forgot all about them but I loved their videos also I played all those online dress up games
WITCH were my favourites as a kid! I would love a video on them!
also been stuck to this channel since 2019, you were such an inspiration to me and really opened my eyes to new styles. thanks
Our points of references are so similar lol. I LOOOVE the Nanny. Always and forever will be my style. Also love kpop fashion sooo yeeessss
Ariana with the boots and the very oversized sweatshirt will forever be my favorite fashion moment. So simple, so cozy.
I’d love to see a w.i.t.c.h. lookbook! That comic was my whole childhood and inspired my fashion so much, especially the styles on the w.i.t.c.h. magazine cover 🙊 or like hay lins obsession for goggles or cornelias long denim skirts with boots look ✨iconic✨
Yes plzzz do do full length w.i.t.c.h inspired look book that would be amazing!
please we NEED the w.i.t.c.h lookbook!!!
omg i love w.i.t.c.h, i need a lookbook with that show!
Me: Aaliyah, early Mary j bilge , JLo, Mariah Carey,Pluto from sailor moon, the nanny, Kelly from married with children, dark angel ,nana, bratz & barbie ‘generation’. Flashdance the movie and Showgirls the movie… and LIZZIE MCGUIRE😅
I absolutely loved this video!!!! Such a great concept .This was one of my favorite things to discuss in art school with friends. Sometimes it would bleed into art and not just fashion, but it was often random individuals we remembered from our hometowns .
Omg YES! Please do a WITCH video!!!
Love this! To this day I can't get over Jeff Hardy in his "blue pigtails out of the hat" era, all the fishnet shirts and baggy trousers! But overall his style in the late 90's/early 00s was impeccable. Mel C was also a massive influence on me as a kid, I got a green Tommy cami when I was little to go with some black velvet baggy trousers, and as I grew up and found out about bands like Korn and Dir en Grey I ended up loving tracksuits again. But I feel like overall Jeff has the biggest hold over my most consistent fashion sense ^^; then discovering J fashion through games and anime, I have ended up with some mixture of nu-metal, gyaru, and goth haha
AHHH! I just scrolled to find your channel and I'm in love!! I really want to learn more about fashion and how to accessorize, so I'm super excited to watch more! Also never have seen W.I.T.C.H. but from the photos you showed, i would love to see it!
triple h was legendary bro they were so good
I think the variety of styles and concepts in kpop has introduced to styles that I normally wouldn't be interested in or are out of my comfort zone.
The kpop music videos I take the most inspiration from are:
-After school by weekly
-Stereotype by stayc (especially the plaid outfits)
-The live clip for Queen of Hearts by Twice
8:50 I’d love ❤️ to see a W.I.T.C.H aesthetics look, so underrated.
yes please!! i would love to watch how to accessorize video
omg i loveeeeeed watching this vid and getting bits n pieces of the influence u've gotten from the same dolls and games many of us r familiar w as well. and a witch lookbook is smth i never thought i'd need this much but I CERTAINLY do now!!!
Oh god i had forgotten about WITCH! I used to watch the show soo much like i even had a lunchbox merch of the show omgg, sure they had such a big style!
I love your videos, I’ve never been able to express myself and my passions, but you have given me tips and inspiration too. At this point I don’t even go to Pinterest for inspo, I just watch one of your videos. 💕
I would totally watch a Witch lookbook!!!
OMG! WITCH! YES YES YES please make that video! That comic is the BACKBONE of my aesthetic construction. (That plus marilyn manson).
