    I see softball pitchers today have such stupid wind ups and deliveries. Finch is just so simple and that’s one of the reasons she’s successful

      I know this comment is old but I have noticed that and thought I was the only one that got so annoyed with that. Do you really need to spend 10 seconds on all these little springs and movements that don't even contribute to the pitch? I love that about Finch too...just a simple wind up and throw.

    In order to make a rise ball "rise" you would have to throw it over 90mph and at twice the fastest record spin rate ever thrown.

      @@juanvante I'm correcting their misconception. The ball does not "rise" it simply falls at a slower rate... Simple physics..

      @@juanvante unlike these athletes I am a mathematician and qualified to speak on the topic.. Look up bernoulli's principle and the Magnus effect if you feel like learning something today...
