Im a 70 year old slight build man. Usually drive the ball 185-200 yards maximum.
I used these driver tips on the course last week. Wow, did they help. My longest drive with roll out of course, was 265 yards. My average drive for the day was about 220yards or more.
    THANK YOU

    Very interesting.
I started playing at 71 in 2021 with clubs gradually accumulated from the local Goodwill.
The old driver had a small face compared to other player's clubs but being new I didn't notice.
After two seasons I was very happy to be able to drive 140 yards fairly often and
get the direction within 30 degrees either side of my intention.
Then last summer, my 3rd season, having developed a slight golf addiction,
I decided to buy a brand new big faced driver from an actual golf store.
(Cost four times as much as all my Goodwill clubs combined (but half as much as a top notch club)).
At the time I didn't know what 'draw biased' meant and
didn't even notice that was printed on the non adjustable head.
I guess the salesman assumed everyone suffered from a slicing problem.
(club is a Wilson Launchpad, very light and whippy).
In any case, to avoid hooking, I was forced to rotate my stance clockwise maybe 15 degrees
    similar to your suggestion.
Since then, average driver range has gradually increased to about 220 (depending on how the back feels)
and even once or twice the ball went 270 (hit the sweet spot I reckon) and
direction has narrowed to mostly under 15 degrees either side of desired and
perhaps 20% of the time the ball goes very close to intended.
    So the question is,
why do most of my hole one drives go into the left woods but
by the 6th hole they've straightened out very nicely?

    Hello Todd,
My name is Giel, I am 69 years old and I come from Eindhoven in the Netherlands. I have the following question: the practice swing with the drvier is going well, I swing calmly, keep my arms straight and keep my head in the same position. As soon as I want to hit the ball, I come down with my head and pull my arms in to hit the ball with force. While I know that I should not use force, keep my arms straight and keep my head in the same position.
But as soon as the ball comes into play I fall back into my old habits.
What can I do best to get rid of this annoying habit?
